What I still don’t understand is why rich celebs like Kylie and cardi b still wear fast fashion like fashionova. You’re choosing to contribute to fashion pollution when you have the money to wear ethical clothing??
They are getting paid to wear them. They make money for every single thing they wear, especially if they post about it.

Thanks for that comment about Asian countries. Men have been wearing skirts and skirt like garments or even gasp what other regions might categorize as dresses in our countries for centuries. Like people always forget about how normal it is even now in some countries despite the westernization of clothing. And those men are still men like you said and moreover considered masculine by the larger society.

@@user-KK812 Right? Dhoti too. And then so many traditional dresses that have fabric around the waste that gives a skirt like silhouette. Or what we might consider a "feminine" silhouette. Even stuff that warriors used to wear. The one I've often seen is the one in Gujarati Gharba dance.

biggest thing about billie that I love is that she consciously choose to wear baggy "simplistic"clothes. A T-shirt and long shorts, she really fought to keep her innocence/ childhood to herself till she hit 18.
Those Valentino platforms are amazing. I love the theatricality of them. Couldn't wear them in a million years, but I appreciate that people are willing to endure them for a red carpet moment. Ryan Gosling character dressing as a Ken doll is my new favorite thing.
I think that if the outfit had been a different color, it would all be amazing!
It would help if the shoes actually fit, and those shoes do not fit Anne.

Great Summary! Finally someone said it, those underbust ruffles on Anne Hathaway's dress just look awkward and unflattering! Without the ruffles it would have been a lot better!
PS: I am pretty sure the pattern on Selena Gomez' Outfit was a Pepita, not a Houndstooth. These two and the Vichy pattern do get mixed up all the time.
That last one had me hearing Meryl Streep in my head lecturing us all about cerulean gowns.

I would love more in depth videos sustainable materials and what you hope fashion will be like overall. You mention it in your videos (and now titles) and you seem passionate on the topic! I would love a more deeper dive on your take on:
1) what you would love sustainable fashion (industry) to be
2) what sustainable materials are here so far
3) what designers are designing sustainable fashion/haute coutoure in this space.
4) Maybe do a collaboration with a environmental TH-camr (like Climate Town) for a bit of an educational element in there (he did one on fashion before, maybe a good one as a reaction)?
5) Do include a roast tho 😈 - from what I have seen so far - some sustainability stuff seems to be only "camping for a week in a bohemian festival" looks.
6) Maybe an overview of the worst materials and why - and was there ever bad press for designers as a result?

Too much going on around the neckline with the trucker shirt underneath. Beyonce's not selling me on the Schiaparelli. She's not quite bringing the attitude that bra needs. It's wearing her.
