In an interview to Karan Thapar for The Wire, Talmiz Ahmad, who has twice served as India's ambassador to Saudi Arabia as well as ambassador to Oman and the UAE, noted that so far Arab countries have been silent about the negative treatment of Muslims in India but the manner in which BJP spokespersons Nupur Sharma and Naveen Jindal spoke in derogatory terms about the Prophet is “the crossing of a real line”.
Speaking about the manner in which an official Qatari dinner for Vice President Venkaiah Naidu in Doha was canceled - on the supposed grounds that the host had been in contact with someone who has had Covid - Talmiz Ahmad said it’s “a very clear, strong signal from the Gulf countries.”

We have elected our Parliamentarian to give facility to all community of this diverse indians. Not to rule us. Give facility under the constitution. Religious belief is purely personal. No politician being appointed as religious contractors. Who are they. Our constitution is supreme if any one not interested to live in India under our constitution they can leave the county. Mr. Karan Thapar, renowned person in journalism, the senior most one, who has the respect in the hearts of the people. Fearless and fair, logical reasoning for high pulse interview questions.
This was meant to happen at some point. The question was, when? and what would trigger the Gulf to stand by their fellow Muslims in India. If India does not get the message and take corrective measures to stop the spread of communal and religious hatred, they will be the cause of their own ruination.

It was bound to happen sooner or later , when people warned the administration with good faith , they hounded the critics and called them 'traitors', made childish jokes on critics, tried to shame critics in front of the jingoistic mobs . There are enough well qualified people in the Arab world like this speaker told - college educated Lebanese, Syrians, Egyptians , Iranians , Armenians etc who could do quality jobs in Gulf . Iran also produces high quality engineers etc. Its not like they particularly have any reason to tolerate spoilt brats. Also, in Military uppermost rule is obedience without question. Same applies to Islam. It is a Deen and not a religion as most of us understand.
