Trump: US Has 'Shut Down' Coronavirus Coming in From China 03/02/2020
:-) Trump thought it was nothing? Really? ;-)
It looks like more Joe Biden in the Afghanistan crisis. Kamala Harris would be perfect in this movie.
@@amsfountain8792 Ending the war in Afg. was Trump’s “promise”.
But you don’t remember that, do you Trump chump?
Do you remember McCain’s Environmental policies?
I DO.
Funny how that SELECTIVE MEMORY stuff works, isn’t it?
Don’t remember Trump repeating (and repeating) “If I lose, it’ll be because it was rigged!” WAAAAAY back in 2015 either, do you?
Yea, we see you even if you can’t see yourself.
@@coucouhibou4125 Wrong. They let in plenty of folks from China and other infected areas, just not immigrants.
Tell me Trump chump, does the virus CARE whether or not you’re an immigrant?

I loved the Bash guy sniffing hair lol

Did you actually watch the movie?
@@lipby I’m a Liberal and I didn’t catch that easter egg until the second watch, tbf.
@@joja2568 But the prez was female Trump and you know it! LOL!
This movie proves that audiences can laugh at themselves, but media professionals cannot.
I missed Mark Rylance’s CEO character doing a Biden-like hair sniff, and also wonder how many ppl caught President Orlean’s tramp stamp tattoo in the ending scene 🤣🤣🤣
Pretty sure we all saw that tramp stamp😂😂
These are not "25 things I missed" it's "25 random facts about the ilm I pulled outta my ass"
I honestly thought this movie was genius. The main critical gripe of it being "heavy handed" is just pure ironic gold. That's the point, the movie is this ridiculous but so infuriatingly accurate. The fact that everything in this movie is so resonant with the real world we live in makes it that much more terrifying. The movie is equal parts hilarious, sweet, and harrowing which is a wild experience. Also, with all these huge stars in the cast, I never once lost immersion, they are so well styled and characterized and acted I never got a "that's not your dorky awkward dad, that's Leonardo DiCaprio" feeling, everyone is believable and embodies the characters and it's great.
When the BEADs launched, Jason (Jonah) said he wanted to pray for ‘stuff’. He ends up surviving with ‘stuff’. An Hermes bag and a cellphone.
Poor Jen her life was on the line for this movie 😂 thank goodness she’s ok.
This is the best movie I have seen in a decade.

This movie is if Armageddon and Idiocracy (yeah, that documentary) had a child.
Its eerily real no matter how ridiculous its portrayed.
That's the point. At this time, a movie can't lay on the cynicism and ridiculousness thickly enough anymore - because we are just that thick as a species. :-/

I think an actress of Meryl Streep's status could have easily went HAM (see what I did there) on Jonah Hill but it seems she has a higher level of class.
Total agree. She was so good. Her not-so-subtle portrayal of Hillary Clinton and her exposé of the limousine elite liberal class showed both acting chops and political responsibility
Actually when I watched it a second time at home,I noticed how dark it was... I can see how some folks might have not enjoyed it as much...
It's much better the second time!
Also noticed more like Bash sniffing that chick's hair. Hahaha!

@@Spider-Too-Too Nothing wrong with that take away, but this is a different kind of “doomsday” movie since the simple fact is, science HAS been politicized by RWers and there IS something we can do about that.

I was rooting for the world to end in the first 30 minutes of the movie! 😅🤣 loved the movie, I enjoy dark satire and the cast was amazing...
I legit didn't recognize Ariana until she sang lol. She looks so different from back when my kids cared about her lol. We met her during her time on Victorious, and she was the sweetest, most unaffected kid ever.
Jennifer Lawrence's hair and general appearance HAD to have been inspired by Amy Shira Teitel's (Vintage Space) look.
I don’t really know many movie actors so I didn’t recognize Jennifer Lawrence and thought that it was the Vintage Space woman making the leap to working with top tier movie stars. Glad to hear someone else thought there was a strong resemblance.

Won an Oscar don’t meant that you have to be in súper productions, that’s why I loved this movie, it’s risky for them and they even mock of the media. You’re looking a bunch of millionaires, making jokes of themselves.

I thought the movie was really uplifting and would like to think that if the end was inevitable and imminent I would have dinner with my family
Leonardo DiCaprio's beard keeps changing lengh at the start of the movie. Its hilarious :D
Your presentation of the movie and behind-the-scenes facts was great. Please refrain from the reaction comments (unless you perhaps find a comedic writer to assist the script for these cutaways), I found it really distracting and needless. Great work nonetheless, keep it up. Thanks

Annoying, incessant forced jokes by the presenter of this vid really made it less enjoyable. Don’t need to try so hard. Good analysis/content tho!
You've got to do a pitch meeting on this movie. There is so much that didn't make sense.
What does bother me slightly is that this video (and I think several others) refer to an asteroid, when the movie clearly speaks about a comet. I still like the video, but the whole point of the movie is to respect and face facts. In that light, it does actually disappoint me somewhat. The movie isn't totally ridiculous.
Where’s the pitch meeting for this???
Screen Rant being Screen Rant again. All good till the very last minute when they HAD to show their ignorance once more.

Just FYI Screen Rant writers...

Speed of light : 299 792 458 m / s
So yeah, slightly slower...

Wish this was a 6 episode mini series, where they would flush out the characters a bit more.
There really is no need for that, you don't feel the stakes nor the urgency. 2 hours was the right time for the basics of those characters. It is easy ro understand what drives them because you either know someone like one of them or you are one of them. That is what makes the movie so good in my opinion at least. What I would like to have is another movie with this cast
