Just starting looking into forestry and am completely amazed by this. I'm a truck driver that lives just a few hours away from you and am thinking of selling firewood on the side. Thanks for posting this video, looking forward to going threw your other ones.
Your walking through the logs now with the new machine. I’m surprised how quiet it is. I’ll hush now. Be safe out there and GOD BLESS you and your family and the crew Amen 🙏.
Thanks for the video of the new machine. Watching that makes me wonder have you ever hit the saw with heel before? Looks like it could be easy to do if you are not paying attention.
One of the sawmills I worked in we had a circle saw like that I’ve seen the teeth fly out of it and go through the roof like bullets. She’s got plenty of power to seems like.
What kind of saw is that and please tell me you can run it at a 9 foot preset because if so I just found a way to make life easier around our post mill
Is that decent perduction? Where those logs for peelers? And is that chipper setting next to you making paper chips or hog fuel? 🤔 I run chipper over in Northern California, just wondering.
The amount of tress chipped seems like such a waste. I would kill to have all that firewood for my firewood business. All the loggers chip now and it's hard to get firewood logs. Is the chip market strong? And what is the end use for all those chips.
How is burning the crap wood that is no good for milling into lumber a waste? Allot of times the chips are burned for electricity anyway. That's why I asked what the end use for the chips is in his area. In NH they chip everything now and send them to electrical generation plants. It's hard to get firewood logs anymore. It's a better use and more efficient for firewood for people's homes.

And to think a year a go the ol' Barko was just getting back up and running from the "incident." Congrats on the new slasher, John.
😂
thats a nice system john !
It'll be payed off in no time
nice job merchandising.
Does harvesting wood in the winter as opposed to summer make any difference in the quality of the wood?

what do ya do with the bigger wood ?
Nice! I used to run a hood 24000.
They use that to make gun stocks out of the veneer logs and furniture to.
Good maple logs looks like
Bet it is brrr up there, I can't handle that kind of cold weather, great video 👍⛄☃️😄
Pretty cool stuff thanks man see you later
Just curious. What weighs more, a pound of chips or a pound of timber?

Nice machine
Lots bvtter that that 360 thing. More likie several 180's rolled together! Prayers, BLESSINGS and Hug Homebodies!
César 🧔🏻🌨️🌨️🌨️🌨️🌨️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️☃️🌬️🥶🏔️ si
Hows the new machine working out for ya? Seemed like that new saw has alot less quit in it compared to the old one
Saw is wayyyyyyy better...and bigger!
Boys I like it looks really smooth and stout... that saw spinning about 1400rpms
72 in. has a low rpm
Is the serco faster then the Prentice?.. when I say faster I mean boom speed and swing speed
Lot of hard maple on that job looks like
Looks like you could probably almost feed the chipper to at the same time
Like a boss!
glad its not that 360 camera it was giving me a headache trying to watch the last couple videos with it
tell that skidder driver to drop that drag there and get back and get another one
Sounds like my cordwood saw

Isn't burning wood a waste
