Filmed on 31/01/2018. The third and final station of the day brings us to the gateway throughout the country and a new territory for one train operating company. Welcome to Oxford (Season 5 Episode 14)
Since the recent route extension linking Oxford Parkway to Oxford, Chiltern Railways now operate at this station where services are now 3 to 4 trains an hour to the heart of London. Chiltern Railways use the class 168/172 sets whilst Great Western Railway operates fast only services to London Paddington and Didcot Parkway.
Services heading for a variety of destinations including: London Paddington, London Marylebone, Didcot Parkway, Reading, Worcester Foregate Street, Great Malven, Southampton Central, Bournemouth, Banbury, Manchester Piccadilly and Newcastle.
