You know Talesin has to be thinking "All of Percy's trials and tribulations, the guilt and sleepless nights of him thinking about how he created this terrible weapon which will end countless lives...and Sam is using it to shoot Marisha in the butt"
Amen
TheSilverPhoenix100 dominic fike
It was worth it
A spell, a ki point, a firecracker they won't likely remember to fetch afterward, actual damage, and the last bullet for a gun, all spent to win a race up a tree in the middle of nowhere xD
wasnt it the only piece of ammo?
@@texteel Yep, 'the single piece', so no getting that back :P
@@azurebalmung4520 read "a single piece" my bad
@@texteel No worries, I admittedly could have phrased it a bit better :P
Welcome to D&D
"...just a firecracker...." said Marisha "It's Fine, We're Gods" Ray
Jack Sparrow used his one shot to kill the man who stole his ship and left him for dead on a deserted island. Nott used her one shot to shoot Beau in the ass. In the end, both were worth it.
As someone who played a monk, I was yelling at the screen for Marisha to use Deflect Missile.
3:55 is glorious when Marisha realizes not only did Nott use her last bullet, but it HIT.
Part of what makes D&D beautiful is the fuckass shit that players get up to on a whim.
3:38 Well that escalated quickly.
Most of my CR viewing experience is just watching Travis react to things. 3:13 is a prime example
Between Travis' and Taliesin's reactions, I frequently have to stop and replay moments of dialog that I missed due to their laughter or mine! 🤣
I love how they all just fucking lost it when Beau got the Nat 20.
01:37 that evil little laugh.
Ya know, I expected a lot from CR and DnD...Nott poppin' a cap in Beau's ass wasn't it XD
But it was entertaining, am I wrong?
Not shown: Marisha's terrible, terrible Perception roll.
It was an equally unfair race.
Making it fair
3:40
No context needed-
It will just sound sillier with context
Right up main street. Nice
Hot Pocket!
Oh yeah!
IT'S WORTH IT.
Oh no, oh no. No no no... OH NO YOU DIDN'T.
Glad to see somebody remembers song and probably videogame XD
Imagine if Beau used deflect missiles tho.
Nott, your absolutely damn well nuts
CLIMB FOREST CLIMB
thank you
blood in the water
LOL
14 points of damage… Correct me if I'm wrong, but couldn't she grab the bullet then? And throw it back in Nott's face? Just, let me check. Deflect Missiles: It's a lvl 3 ability, so she has that. It's based on her d10 roll, so MAYBE she wouldn't catch it, but she could certainly try! But I guess it's just funnier to just get shot in the butt, right? Rule of cool and all that! :pEDIT: Ok, forget that, Marisha mentions the same thing a few seconds after! I stopped the video to comment! My bad! lol
For that ability to work your character has be completely aware of the intent of another character to shoot them and the origin and tragectory of the projectile in question. Beau was climbing a tree ahead of Nott; her back to the goblin and all her attention focused on winning the climbing race. Not a goddamn chance in HELL that ability would work.
@@tnerbtnerb5136 Sorry for being SOOOO late answering back, every time I was checking back on this video I didn't have my Player's Handbook with me, and then just forgot answering back! But now I just checked the Deflect Missiles ability, and nothing in it says you have to be "aware of the intent". What is says, specifically, is that you can use your reaction, and I quote, "when you are hit by a ranged weapon attack". Nott's gunshot was a ranged weapon attack, Beau was hit by it, so she could have used her reaction to catch it!
