The neat thing about having air guns is that it allows those of us who live in areas where firearms are prohibited, to feel as though we have "real" guns. Still, it is a treat to be able to shoot something. Definitely beats spears and sling shots
Good review. Just seen your channel so instantly subbed. I own a mk3 .177, its accurate has hell. It has the power for pesting without a doubt at 10metres. The 2 factors you need for pesting is accuracy and power for the most humane despatch of said quarry. Bisley magnum make easy work of any vermin we have in UK at 10metres. You could reach out further but i choose not to personally. My got to pistols are the Alecto, my Hatsan Supercharger and my Crosman 1322 survival carbine that i have customised. All very capable. Happy shooting and all the best from Lancashire.
Good afternoon my good fellow. Cracking vid as always. Keep up the good work. My replacement Gamo phox has finally turned up. 1st one turned up damaged and leaking air. Busy this weekend but will get her filled and zeroed next weekend and let you know how it goes.
I have the Webley Alecto Mark 5 with a laser dot sight on it. It's a very accurate gun. I bought it over the HW45. My only wish is that I'd bought it in .177.
I like .177 in pistols but a 22 will still shoot very well. I've got a few .177 rifles, too, and I was always a .22 fan. In fact, I've got a .25 as well. All good for different jobs.
alright mate great channel just come across you, i have a beeman p17 in.22, amk xs208 in .22 and a remmy express in .22, was wondering what if any thoughts you have in the remmy express and the beeman in .22?
Hi mate, both good guns. The p17 is amazing for the money. I went for the .177 as it flies a bit straighter for a bit longer. It'll have more thump in 22. The express is very good for the price as well. It makes a great starter kit. It can do everything more expensive rifles can do and looks good, while it's doing it. Spring guns are very tunable and with a bit of effort can be great. Happy shooting. 👍
The curious are already thinking about how to go about by passing that relief valve....assuming that you are in a safe jurisdiction! Cool pistol but too pricey for me. Thanks for the excellent review.
I agree there will be people working out ways to stiffen up the spring on the valve. Easy job for a plumber but risky. It is pricey and you will get as much fun from a p17 and at 10 yards or so, just as accurate. You don't get a nice case or a bottle of oil though.
@@RealAirgunAdventures no worries 👍 if you can get a spare long barrel for the crossman 2240 you can modify it to fit your webley Alecto and you get more power and better accuracy at longer ranges. I'll try to post a video in couple of days for you 👍
Yes but that's a stretch for open sights. I've shot it out to 25 yrds and I was pretty good. I'll probably make an update video with some longer range shooting. Maybe a moving target too.
I was grouping about 2" at the gun club at 29mts but if I can fit better telescopic sights on the gun I'm sure I could do better ....I've only got pistol scopes on plus my eyes arnt what they use to be but because of the pumping action your limited for a bigger scope .......could you recommend any ?
I've seen a guy in the States shooting rats literally under his feet below walking boards, I guess handy for that. But I agree, if you want to shoot pests, just buy a 2250XL or a CP2 and do it properly ! Nice video buddy. ATB MMMD (and Pellet Playtime - same bloke)

Very true, although sling shots are fun 😀

Thanks for watching, i think 10 metres is a sensible limit for pest control, with s pisto. Ive had a lot of fun with mine , just plinking around. 👍l

You'll be busy all weekend. Once you get zeroed it'll be hard to put it down.

Awsome review as always mate 👍🏻
It's probably right up your street. Brilliant trigger.
@@RealAirgunAdventures broken p17 waiting for new o ring set to turn up
@@johngriffiths3309 lol, when you have it apart check for any burs on the air Inlet. That eats the o rings. They really good guns for the money.
Good 👍🏻 review hard to find air pistol 🔫.
I didn't have to look too hard, if you can't find the Webley try the Zoraki. Are you in the UK?
@@RealAirgunAdventures no I’m 🇺🇸 USA
@@PeterAgostiniJdcap26 if you are in the the market for one, I can make some enquiries. Might turn up some leads.
@@RealAirgunAdventures no that’s ok … you need a special license to import etc a lot of red tape . But thank you
@@PeterAgostiniJdcap26 no problem. I talk to a couple of people in the US. They might know where to find one.
Did you memtion the caliber???
I don't think I did, .177. I'll add to the title and description.
Thanks for that 👍
@@RealAirgunAdventures np , Honestly im on no sleep, wasnt sure if it was me or not ;)
Good video as Always .
@@jonnymak1079 thanks 😊
Have one.. Love it.
Glad to hear it. One of the best pistols I've had 👍
Same here in 20 caliber.@@RealAirgunAdventures
Nice pistol they are, you would be surprised how good they are at pest control. I have taken pigeons at 20 meters no problem 😊.
Nice video mate 👍
That sounds good, what pellets do you use?
@@RealAirgunAdventures JSB pellets 13g mine is a .22 calibre. Give it a go you won't be disappointed 👍

There's a guy in America shooting feral pigeons in warehouses with the Zoraki.
I've seen a few videos from the USA. I wonder if they have a bit more power. I have to admit I prefer a rifle but it's a good little pistol.

Thanks for your comment. I think I've seen the same video. I must have a look at a CP2 some time. 👍
Had one for around 8 years. Will never part with it. Feral Pidgeon's at 30 yards, no problem.
Thanks for chipping in, I think I got the pest control potential wrong on this one. I'll have to revisit it and do an update.
Thanks for watching 👍
Nice pistol , wished I could shoot one accurately , unfortunately I'm right crap shooting pistols ..
It's just practice and finding a good grip. I think anyone can get good at given time. When I film the shooting it's usually best of three 😅
