The first dress did all her checklists: tulle ball gown, drop waist, beading sparkle, sweet heart neckline, on budget. And tbh none of these checklists match kate middleton or grace kelly wedding dress😂
She was not wrong - her sister has a great eye for what will look good on her. Both of her sister’s picks fit her gorgeously. I think the waist on first two gowns did diservice to her figure.
None of these dresses are Kate Middleton esque at all, she asked for one things and then described something different, she needs more clarity on what she really wants 😊
And Kate's dress had long sleeves and a train, and yet this bride's destination wedding is on a beach? LOL. I read one bride say she wished someone had told her that the train looked like it had been drug through kitty litter after the beach ceremony. Totally trashed before the reception!
The blush gown was stunning! I don’t usually do pink but it was gorgeous. Her sister has great taste. The first one looked beautiful on her too. And even though the second didn’t suit her it was nice to see something different
"Drop waist, tulle, sweet heart neckline, a lot of beading, sparkle" "I like kate Middleton, grace kelly look" Those are 2 different directions i think 😄😄
Omg thank you, she said like Kate Middleton with a sweetheart neckline beading and sparkle. All i could think of was ummm are we thinking of a different Kate Middleton?
@@saintjuice11 they weren't denying that, they just said that the Kate/Grace Kelly look is one direction, and the princess style with lots of tulle is a completely different direction:)
Yeah they’re too focused on what details are on the dress and how they don’t like certain little insignificant things instead of how the cut/fit would look on their body
As a bridal consultant, I think she needed to try a flowier a-line style that followed her natural waist and let out at the top of the hip. A petite bride can end up looking cupcakey in a ball gown. Additionally the less robust fabric of the Aline would be more feasible and romantic for a beach wedding. Not a lot of direction here.
Best comment. I totally agree. The traditional ball gown is not very flattering on us short women. She needs to try some different styles like you suggested. I just don't think she will look her best in that style of dress. Maybe a fit and flare would be grand but still flattering.
Yes. None of those gowns (to me) were very beach wedding appropriate, especially that mermaid. It seemed very restrictive to be on a beach. Not a lot of air flow like she had mentioned wanting.
“picky” seems to also mean indecisive in these episodes. she looked lovely in most of these dresses. it can be hard to decide especially when it’s so expensive, and you like them all.
A Kate Middleton dress is for a very formal wedding not a wedding in the Caribbean. What was this woman thinking? Those ball gowns are way too formal as well. The mermaid gown was much more appropriate for the venue.
She has no idea what Caribbean weather is like. Who does a ballgown for a destination beach wedding??? They said on a deck, ok. However she will be so hot and sweaty, that she would regret that decision dearly. The fact that no one brought this up it's ridiculous.
It can be done. But you need the right material. And I'm not 100% they have that type of material or dress. Or it might be more expensive. But a more simple dress would be good
@@AnniCarlsson I live in the Caribbean, I know what I'm saying, outdoor weddings especially by the beach need light dresses. It could be made out of tulle, but if you have 50 yards of tulle in a dress with an underskirt it's not as breathable as you think. Having studied fashion and being an islander, this makes no sense.
@@KissyRitzy my suggestion would be not to go on there to get the dress. Go to the place the wedding will take place and get one over there instead. Who knows maybe it'll be cheaper as well
The dresses look amazing on her. Her sister really has an eye for picking out pieces that flatter her figure. Not an easy feat when you’re, um, “under tall…” 😂 But none of those dresses look appropriate for a destination wedding in the Caribbean. Those are all very formal!
I'm glad she didn't rush into choosing a dress. She looked beautiful in all the dresses but at the very beginning she described her dream dress to be Kate Middleton inspired and none of those dresses were anything like that. She needed to go home and rethink what she really wants.
None of those dresses have Kate Middleton vibes. If she wants to keep the ballgown, perhaps ditch the bling beading and have a more clean, softer look. Or perhaps try an A-line skirt rather than full ballgown. If she's having a beach wedding, something softer and flowy might be more suitable. You can add subtle bling with a belt or jewellery.
The bride was overwhelmed since the beginning and I got the impression she was a little deluded by the ball gown, she imagined something different, I think. Also she was so specific about how the dresses should be and wasn't specially opened to try something different until her sister suggested that. Watching this, I learned the importance to get focus too, the intention behind a choice is as necessary as look fabulous and happy. The second dress was gorgeous on her, fit her silhouette amazingly as the mermaid did. The shimmery style was too much, maybe. In the other hand, I totally understand why she loves her fiancé; hope both are happy.
She already is and looks like Gods beautiful princess! They are an adorable couple! The groom sounds like he will make a great dad! I'm sure she will find her dream dress..her sister is so loving and supportive and really knows her sisters style so I'm happy she has so much love surrounding her 💕 God Bless everyone great episode! :)
IMO - this bride is short waisted so the ballgowns where the poofy skirt starts at the waist cut her off in a bad way. She definately needs a drop waisted dress.
This bride had NO IDEA WHAT SHE REALLY WANTED... IT'S HARD TO FIND SOMETHING WHEN YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU'RE LOOKING FOR. As far as the engagement party, she just needed a nice formal gown and no a wedding dress. Save the wedding dress for the ceremony
First mother that is really a great support, and sister knows what looks the best on this bride! Last one for the eng.party and the blush one for the weadding! The blush dress is amazing!!!
I loved the blush one on her and can’t understand why she decided no on it. I think she may be setting an impossible bar for the dress “of her dreams”. Maybe there’s some reason she doesn’t want to buy yet.
I wish she would have chosen the blush dress. It looked beautiful on her and would have been just the right dress for the beach. I hope she reconsiders.
I liked the ball gown that her sister chose for her. Would be perfect for the wedding and then the mermaid style for her engagement party. She probably needs to go home and sleep on it.
Wow! The first one with the Hoop was really beautiful! I liked the Fit and the Sparkle a Lot. It feels like "the Sea" on, this is just my Vision. And I feel too curious how it would perform with a short Veil, cause I guess it might be windy on the Venue?! But the Hoop would keep the Silhouette perfectly in Place. I also guess that her Groom would like that one, also the bright white Colour. The blush Dress was also very beautiful. To me it would fit into a Garden or if the Ceremony would have a Fairy Theme. (Maybe her Family likes this? The Garden of Eden speaks for a rich Childhood for the New Generation, no Matter if they have own Kids or not.) The Mermaid Dress will be so cool at the Engagement Party!!! She wants the fairy tale Cinderella dress regardless of venue, temperature, and being shortwaisted. But what she didn't get in her lifelong dream was that her body proportions might be better shown off in a different style. So she doesn't see Cinderella in the mirror though she looks lovely but can't let the fairytale go.
I thought the pink one her sister picked was perfect for her and so beautiful. Maybe they will do another video showing what she ends up getting; it would be interesting to see. And Rania's hijab was so pretty I was thinking. She is such a nice person

Anyway, none of them scream Caribbean, Grace Kelly or Kate Middleton 😅 I'm not really sure what the bride was going for...
