What Brandon is advising with the step in the jab at about 2:30. I had a pro boxer teach me that almost exactly, when I first started out. I drilled that shit over and over on the heavybag and on pads. After a while when my abilities in sparring got to a decent level. I was dropping sparring partners a lot with that left hook to the body. I would also switch between that and a screwjab (like prince Naseem used to do) it’s hard for people to tell which one you’re going to throw as the body position just before is pretty much identical. So little tip there for any up and coming boxers. 👍🏼
Seckbach should compile all his Brandon Kraus training vids (from his playlist) into a DVD, it'll make decent money. 90% of profits to Kraus, 10% to Seckbach :p
right hook to the head is one of the more difficult punches. awkard to throw and leaves you more open than any punch. especially if your stance is very closed. will be a looping hook.
I basically only throw it on the Inside tho I get more use of it to the Body then Head. Now you can set it up with some Jabs having the way or get use out of it when they Turtle. To me every legal punch has it's place, but the Power side Hook has the fewest places.
