Yeah, you can do it, Bon Bon! We wish you all the best in your studies!
THIS FEELS LIKE A MEDITATION 😭. My inner self is healing as I hear the voice and the background music
fr 😭🥺
oh, thank you, Gliezel. cheers!
I am a professor of ethics but your explanation is crystal clear. You explained a complicated topic in simple and understandable terms.
Thank you so much, Sir Christopher, for your very inspiring comment. Best wishes!
@@PHILOnotes If you are truly a Professor of Ethics as you say then why is it you did not correct some of the definitions she used? Meta ethics is defined wrongly here. She thinks meta ethics describes acts themselves as moral or immoral. She does not mention the distinctions between Psychology and Philosophy definitions to Ethics. She gives the Psychology definition just like everyone else who claims to Study Ethics. Philosophers focus on Normative Ethics when describing "Morality". People outside of Philosophy do the other stuff like she does in the video. Not a good description of the subject and certainly brings up the question "WHY STUDY THIS ANYWAY?" especially if this is not applicable everywhere simultaneously. We already know what subjectivism is. We don't need another word for what we already have if she is correct.
Same here...I admire how she explained in a very simple and comprehensive way.
Hi, professor. Can I send some article about ethics? And let me to ask you where are you from? Do you work at university or at school?

What app did you use for this?
3. What is your understanding of applied ethics?
As discussed in the video, applied ethics guides individuals in their choice of action. It is commonly observed with the individuals suffering from a moral problem like abortion or euthanasia. Applied ethics attempt to resolve the conflicting issues that surrounds the particular moral problems.
Very good presentation
Thanks heaps, Samnang, for your generous comments. All the best!
Please do not stop posting this video
hi Sadhna, yes, we are working on it. thanks for the reminder.
Hello - Great work. BUT something confused me A LOT.
"the action of killing the terrorist is wrong according to metaethics" - Metaethics??? (does metaethics care about that?)
It is wrong according to Kantian deontology/ethics but not according to Utilitarianism - both are ethical theories (under the category Normative ethics).
The last slide is very confusing/wrong - or i totally misunderstood the whole thing. :D
good i have learned a lot from this txs
many thanks for your generous comments, Micheal. cheers!
@@PHILOnotes i attend all the video i got knowledge which help me more than i attend the class 1 year
@@michealdesta1851 Glad to hear that, Micheal. Best wishes!
Ethics is not about right or wrong but more precisely it is about properness. Is it proper or improper.
the music, voice and drawing of girl combo make me feel like im being abducted by aliens and being taught what they learned from us
oh...
Beautiful ❤️
My God whenever I hear your voice, I became so happy unfortunately i have never seen you but only your voice which is god gift. Thank you

What about personal.ethics and common ethics im having presentation about this topic
Hi Falanqeeye! We will try to work on those topics. But if your presentation would happen anytime soon, we're afraid we may not be able to make it on time... our apologies.
Ethics and morality is equal for every human
very helpful, keep it up
Many thanks, James Dominic, for your inspiring comments. Cheers!
Watching this video for the last minute before midterm exam😩
Good lecture
Class is lit🔥
Thanks 👍😊
No worries, Arlyn!
Is it fair to say that metaethics is objective and normative ethics is subject to situation?
I think no. Thanks.
thank you , it was simple and easy to understand, well explain
Thank you, mate, for your very inspiring comments!
Good work
Is ignoring questions ethical or unethical?
there are things that we simply have to do outside the bounds of morality, and i think one of them is ignoring questions. it may not be proper or appropriate in human relations, but i have the right to ignore questions, especially if i am not legally bound to do so.
Thanks mam, this is so helpful 🙂🖤...
No worries, Moon Vlogs. Cheers!
@@PHILOnotes ☺️❤️❤️
I have a question The word nature how is it related or applied to ethics?

Ma'am these lectures r very beneficial but i didn't find the lecture of socialization from your channel so please help me regarding this
thanks a heap, Muhammad, for your very inspiring comments. by the way, what do you mean by "socialization" in this context? for example, are talking about socialization in "education" or socialization from the vantage point of sociology?
Principles of organization structure
complex lesson but interesting
Indeed! :)
or can you help me about Teleological Ethics Proponents?
Hi Cristel Grace, please see my answer to your previous question.
Ethics are the study of consequential human behaviour using concepts of good and evil as parameters.
Brilliant
Namaskar mam. Pls more video on medeval philosophy
Sure, soon, Kunu! cheers!
This is very helpful tho
Thx
No worries, Marlo!
Wao its great info
Thanks Aazz!
in philippine , when you remove letter "S" in ethics , then it will run quickly.
nice video
thanks Omio. cheers!
All was well until the example of police officer. It says according to meta it is wrong which is completely nonsensical thing to say. Actually meta ethics is the only means to understand actions as ethical or not as normative ethics is simply synthesis of meta into daily life
oh, thank you for your brilliant thoughts, Yusuf. we will address this concern asap. cheers!
What ethics is and what is not?
yeah, we missed that part. we would be glad if you could share your thoughts on it, KaNzer. Cheers!
Online class led me here🤗
Enjoy learning!
Great job❤😅
Thank you so much 😀
I still confused what are the similarity and the sameness between ethics and morality? Anyway your video are the best! Thanks for doing this.
Ethics is study...Morality is practice...
all the best, Rose!
Thanks Moshe
Thanks 😊. I'm happy to be part of your learners. Please prepare for us about epistemology if possible
Ethics has limited use for logic and truth and is more the realm of opinion and instinct. For instance, the golden rule and happiness are a matter of opinion.
We have to answer three questions to consider our action is moral. This is an isolated incident. Definitely our reaction will be of exceptional nature. Otherwise there is no such thing as freewill which is the gift of God. Any way the questions are A..What is motive behind the action ?
B...Is the reason is universally acceptable? C.. killing is immoral then prevention is moral. In the said example the person involved is killed to prevent further murders not only in the present but in future also. .killing is immoral but here we are forced to choose between killing a person and allowing him to murder. We have freewill to choose either of them and there is no question any doubt. . If we don't act we will be committing a sin of far reaching consequences.
Great insight, Rajendra Rajassingan. Thanks heaps. Cheers!
How do I cute this piece of information
I don't know actually
