About This Game (from steam)
Welcome to Ultimate Epic Battle Simulator 2, the most ridiculous and insane battle simulator in existence! Create eye watering battles with hundreds of thousands, and even millions of characters on screen! Sandbox mode will return, with infinite army sizes and far greater flexibility than ever. Command your armies in RTS mode with full drag select army control, or get the job done yourself and play as any one of the units in 3rd or 1st person. In coming updates for early access, jump into multiple story and player driven campaigns or make your own and share them with your friends! There's 2 things I want to see from this channel.

Trying not to focuse to much on blood and bodies as apparantly its stopping my channel from growing cose apprantly youtube advertisers dont like blood gore and millions of deaths... who knew :D
The main reason you don't see much about guardsman ammo, is because Las rifle. The Las rifle can actually fully recharge a power pack just through sunlight, or as is mentioned in the Necromunda books (cant recall which rulebook) by putting the ammo pack in a fire for roughly 10 minutes. So if a guardsman has a few of them, they can cycle them and by the time the last is spent, the first is recharged, or they're dead.
Yeah i mentioned that and that they would only be replacing broken ones... thing most people dont realise about the imperium is that las guns really are not that wide spread (dont get me wrong they are alot of them) but they are expensive to make, and auto guns are extremely cheap. Lass rifles tend to onlly be given to thouse troops who deserve it, conscripts tend to not get las rifles, as they are to expendable so often they re given autoguns, shotguns, stormrifles and things like that, all of which use physical ammo. :
@@ChaoticPinky In general most true Imperial Guards have Las riffles of some kind, though the make and quality varies to on every world. However that is only the IG. The Planetary Defense forces, Arbits (police) and so on get auto guns at best. But even if every troop had a Lasgun, they still need several power packs for most fights.
While they do recharge fairly easily, they expend ammo insanely quickly in a real fight. Never mind no Imperial guard goes to war without heavy weapons, tanks and other things that all need physical ammo. It is why most real Imperial crusades have Mechanicus ships just there to manufacture parts and new equipment.
There we go, body piles built nice and steady - just like the Imperial Fists would. Daddy Dorn approves.
Regarding the ammo, there’s that saying that professionals specialize in logistics. The guardsmen of course understand that they are ammo in a certain sense as well.
similar to one I remember hearing: Soldiers win battles...Logistics wins wars.
@@gamingwhileotherssleep4650 yeah it’s like that, amateurs discuss tactics, professionals discuss logistics. I’ve heard different variations.
Here's a selling point to add the feature of a unite-based kill counter... It will really REALLY help modders balance units. Basically would be the ONLY tool they'd need to ensure their unit balance is spot on. Now go, tell the devs this.
Kill counters by unit was one of my first requests for UEBSII.
I would also love to be able to click on a unit and see how many kills it got in the battle if it survived to the end or something like that.
I think the Imperials need to put some cream on their piles .

To be fair, given the average lifespan of a guardsman on the battlefield, they probably don't get through that much ammo per dude. If each brings a can of ammo with them off the transport, that'd probably do em.
Jokes aside, yeah the logistics of the imperium are insane. Would be very fun to have some books going over it in more depth. Even if logistics aren't that interesting overall, the majority of it is just some basic maths about useage rates, them the pros and cons of JIT (making sure stuff arrives when you need it, not before you need it, so you don't have to spend money on storage space), just hesring about all the numbers and routing would be very fun. Mostly it's just that Transport ships in warhammer are ungodly levels of large. A very big battleship is like 12km long, the big transport ships are like 50KM. Which is very realistic, wierdly. Oil tankers make aircraft carriers look like frigates.
I saw a ship that was built to carry oil tankers.... it could hold 10 oil tankers at a time...Im talking in real life, thing was the size of a city it was insane !
