Our favorite Disney Channel shows were almost completely different. From name changes like Alexis Texas instead of Hannah Montana to completely different stars like JoJo instead of Miley Cyrus, some of the iconic shows we grew up with could have gone in a whole other direction. And if it wasn’t for stars like Zendaya and Debby Ryan who were producing Disney shows when they were just teenagers, classics like “KC Undercover” and “Jessie” would have been about totally different things.
There are also tons of Disney stars who almost got different roles in the shows they went on to star in. Like “Liv and Maddie’s” Dove Cameron, who never even auditioned to play either of the twins! Or what about “That’s So Raven’s” Raven-Symoné, who first auditioned to play Chelsea? And you’ll never believe the role Joe Jonas almost got in one of our favorite Disney shows-- here’s a little hint, he would have starred alongside Selena Gomez.
From Ashley Tisdale almost losing out on playing Maddie in “The Suite Life of Zack and Cody” to the show that was almost named “The Amazing O’Malley’s”, these original Disney Channel ideas would’ve really changed our childhood as we know it. Some of them-- like “JONAS” almost being about teenage spies-- might have even spiced things up a little. But we’ll let you be the judge on that. @@alyssastextingstories637 OMG, same thought but the writers went with Diggie cause Ryan was dating dove during production of LAM. Worst mistake ever cause today those two actors can't even speak before war lets loose. I'm sad for Josh and the ship Mosh cause we never got the right closure, being them ending up together.

Exactly I feel like Rowan has just that innocent sweet face lol. She was perfect for her role, and so was Sabrina.
Also, one big kick was that Rowan looked like her on screen parents.

If you didn't know, there was an episode were Maddie and London swapped lives. Arwin made a device out of a phone booth called the PU that stands for Parallel Universe. The twins were still themselves but they were in the Fitzpatrick Hotel and London was the candy counter girl. Even the other characters like Mr. Moseby and Carrey had different personalities. So yeah I guess we can imagine them switching.

good luck charlie was originally supposed to be about how teddy was actually charlie’s mom but she was having her parents raise charlie instead so she could finish high school and go to college and everything and she was making the video diaries for charlie because she was her daughter. so basically the plot of andi mack except with video diaries. it was also originally called “love, teddy” bc that’s how she was gonna end all the video diaries, but they changed it to good luck charlie so other family members could join in on it sometimes too.

Even though I've only seen bits and pieces of Hannah Montana in my entire life, I know that the original idea of her dream life being an actual dream would've been a really bad idea.
I was so surprised to know about Hannah Montana. The Things is a really great channel for knowing about disney channel.
IMO, Zendaya is the perfect example of strength, beauty, and brains. She will forever be one of my favorite actresses.

IKR. It was one of my favorite episodes of that show. It also showed Brenda Song was great in both roles, which I figured she would be
Fun fact: On the last episode of Liv and Maddie, Joey talks to Dumptruck and mentions that the whole time they’ve been part of a reality show in a foreign country called “bits and pieces”! This explains why the have the moments when it cuts to them sort of narrating!

I wish Ally had a sibling. I thought Dez was annoying and even though I was 19 when the show started, I would occasionally watch it whole babysitting my nieces and nephews. I also liked Jonas but I was so excited to hear that they were going to be spies in the show and I was kind of upset that the format changed.

They should have dragged out the triangle longer and shown the relationship between May a and lucas and riley and lucas more..So we could understand why lucas chose who he chose.I thought they pushed the idea of Riley and Lucas too much..therefore leaving Maya and Lucas relationship to be one sided..We should have seen more.

Another fun fact: Liv & Maddie was also based off the 60's sitcom The Patty Duke Show in which the real Patty Duke also portraying both twins guest starred as Liv & Maddie's grandmother.
On The Patty Duke Show they were not twins, they were cousins.
