Hello! Thank you so much ! I watch your channel and thought you did a really nice job of it although I know nothing about dance. It was well done. I just subscribed and will check on your activities ! Good luck !
When you have the time you can also check on birds around you: they are all nice, in general !
Best wishes for the New Year. 👋👋😊😊🐦🐦‼️

@@camnature1147 Thank you really , friend. This gull is really lovely and incredibly skilled at flying fast and stopping and fast again. Unfortunately their numbers are diminishing due to sea pollution…
Thank you and and excellent day and luck to you. 🙏🙏🐦👋😊‼️

Thank you for compiling this Patricia. I had just read an article in ‘Birdwatch’ magazine on Ross’s Gull which looks almost the same as your Saunder’s Gull and is an incredibly rare vagrant in the U.K. I would find it impossible to distinguish between your bird and the Ross’s. A whole video devoted to tracking and recording the behaviour of one species is always a treat. You’ve got the new year off to a flyer!👏👏😊

@@johnluk Thank you!! I am really glad you liked it. We don’t have Ross’s gulls over here. The Saunders are here in small numbers in winter. They are very likable. And elegant. I think it’s because of the Japanese terrain : lots of mountains mean lots of rivers and estuaries where they can feed. These gulls come down from Russia and N.E. China but suffer from the sea pollution on their migratory route which is why their numbers are in decline. It’s a pity. They are such amazing flyers and very elegant too .
I have never seen a Ross’s gull anywhere but I am going to check now.
I hope UK and Wales have no more of those gales storms. I won’t say rain. At the moment many countries in Europe are having a lot of it.
But the last I read on the BBC you had a real cold weather. Take care, good luck if weather permits. Thank you again.
      🙏🙏👋👋😊😊‼️

@@Nature_Watching_Japanas you wrote this we had a change from the rain - snow! but it didn’t last and it rained over the snow making driving very difficult.
With regard to Ross’s gull they are really an Arctic bird very, very rare this for south. Wishing you good birding and best of luck in everything! 🐤🐦😊

@ Thank you ! You too John. Be careful with this weather. I checked the Ross’s gull. It was very interesting but of course I wouldn’t be able to see it. Maybe you will! Good luck !❄️🍀🌨️🐦😊‼️Patricia

Welcome Friend to the New Year. A very beautiful video starring a seagull. Beautiful shots of her in flight as well as during the evening hunt👍. I for one have been recovering from a hospital stay since December and am slowly getting back to strength🙂 Best regards and best wishes for the new year!

@@bunkowmoviebirds476 Happy New Year to you and good recovery. Thank you for writing. I hope you will be able to go back to nature filming soon.
Anyway it’s the worst season for weather. Especially with snow around you.
It’s not much better here. And winter birds are very few in Tokyo.
Take care and I hope rare little birds will come to your feeding station !🙏🙏👋👋😊😊🍀🍀‼️
