A good trainer/ owner would know how to properly use a slip lead to train proper healing. It does not take long and the results are amazing. Only ignorant owners hurt the dog using a slip lead.
Enjoy the puppy part of the experience, it goes fast. We just got our Chocolate Labrador back in April. She just turned eleven months, three days ago. She has gotten big. Good luck with Woodford!

I love woody, he’s perfect! We used the same harness with our lab Boomer, and he does just fine! The chest clip worked much better especially as he got bigger and stronger. It’s whatever works best for you guys and little woody! Thank you for sharing,
