I think this guy was serious at first but when they realized they can make money off of these videos he got even crazier and there is a lot more ads now. I think he went from being serious in his videos which he was still crazy but now he is putting on a show for everyone and we are eating it up and they are making money
Tez from the channel Indian Barber suspected similar things but after he visited Asim and spoke to regular customers of him he confirmed that Asim is also making faces and stuff when there's no camera so he's certainly not making it for the money. Added to that many people found the old Asim better but there are also a lot who find his massages way more entertaining the way they are now.
And about the money thing: They are working hard to provide us with asmr videos and even upload a video every day. And we can watch all of their videos for FREE. They definitely deserve to get at least a bit money from the ads for their work.
And if you don't like Asim there are still a lot of other barbers on their channel so.

My question is: What's the problem? That clearly became an entertainment for everyone, like a sitcom or something. It's only natural for them to make some money out of it. They're characters/actors. Nothing weird about getting paid to perform.
