I'm gonna move with my family to my grandparents house for some time due to financial issues. We have one hell of stuff which we wanna keep but we had to decide a layout of the small space we will get there. This will help a lot I showed this to my mom and we made one hell of open layout like this one. Thank you. The place we are moving to is a traditional style Indian house and our furniture and stuff is more suited for the present modern style Indian Houses. Idk how but this layout works fine and seems comfy. Thank you♡

I live in California, but my family is from Finland. Years ago, we moved into a large temporary rental. The property manager and her husband checked on us shortly after we moved in. They were both making a joke about how we didn’t have enough possessions and furniture. They basically shamed us for being minimal and now it’s some trend here. There is so much pressure in the U.S. to own a bunch of crap that you don’t even need.
Minimalism teaches us to be contented with what we have and never focus on what we don't have. The less possessions we got, the less stress we got. Truly, less is more.
I hope you managed to stay that way. Americans need to work on being proud of themselves instead of their stuff and huge homes the mortgages of which tie them doen for a lifetime, unable to travel eyc.

It's great that all the small apartments seem to have a small washing machine. How convenient and more sanitary than dragging your clothes to a public facility especially in these times.
Love your bedroom! i was thinking of getting a dressing table cos since i moved to my new house few yrs ago, i put it in the guest room. now i see u living like me, and more minimalist, only a bed! now am thinking, i am doing ok with a bed (!) and mattress in my bedroom only. my side table i moved it out a few months ago juz as an experiment, to leave my e-gadgets outside the bedroom including my alarm clock! so just bed & me! 😄 but i would like to put a picture or pictures on the wall soon! 💕
