Just wanted to say being introverted doesn't mean shy and quiet. Likewise extroverted doesn't mean loud and social. It's about where you recharge. Introverted people recharge on their own, and extroverted charge off of being around people. You can be introverted but also really loud and fun around people.

For a long time I thought that I was lacking in something for not particularly enjoying large social gatherings but as I get older, I realise that it is just me and it’s ok. I hope others watching this realise this fact earlier in their lives and don’t stress about it too much. Both of you are very self aware and that is so good for your ongoing mental health

I lost my best friend of 35 years to cancer in November 2019 - which made the pandemic and having to “shield” almost unbearable - she was my complete opposite but our bond was an amazing one. I think I’ve always assumed I was an extravert - but actually I’m an introvert who puts on a dam good show when I’m out of my home 🏡 it’s great to have a strong friendship - and I miss my bestie so much - I am great friends with her two daughters and I see her in them all the time.

Friendship goals. My best friend and I have been besties for 48 years now! She was the first person I wanted to see and along with my husband we are the Three Amigos and spent a week at the beach together! Carrie is very cool! Does she have her own channel? Organizational tips, Personal Assistant skills, etc. She’s basically a Chief of Staff and rocks at Scheduling and Advance. Recipes, Christmas decorating tips, etc. I am there for Carrie’s channel.
