Fun Fact: Some countries still use McDonaldland or at least did until recently. Specifically they refused to use modern advertising like the McFry Guy. Only know because I found an advertisement from Singapore on TH-cam.
You should go to the abandoned arch McDonalds on 710 Kingery Hwy in Willowbrook IL. It’s a classic McDonalds that relocated to a modern one about a mile north. With that said, it literally just sits there completely abandoned. I pass it by every now and then. It’s worth checking out.
There was also a McDonald’s again in the same city that still had an actual party room with walls to separate that room from the rest of the restaurant.
They have a McDonald’s near me that hasn’t been remodeled yet and it’s not like gray and white. It’s like red and yellow and a bunch of bright colors still.
This is really random and Chuck E Cheese related. A long time ago Cavity Sam posted a video, I think when she went to get her Sally Daniel band, and during the road trip they stopped in this little area. Apparently, there's a house there that had a couple animatronics out on the front porch of the house. Now I have no idea if this is still true or if it was ever true, but just when you said you were looking for any interesting ideas in your talking a video a few days back it reminded me. They weren't in the video, because they weren't llowed to film or something??? Anyway, just thought I'd mention it to you before I forget. Awesome Mcdonalds by the way. The most interesting one near me is one with I think a 90s/00s playplace still inside, but I've never actually been in lol.
So cute! We don’t usually stop at McDonald’s to eat, but if we had a play place like this for the kids nearby we’d definitely visit more. Somehow McDonald’s has left kids out of the equation with the newer remodels.
Do most McDonald’s with the Play Place have the Play Place lettering still? If not, then I know of a McDonald’s that still has the Play Place lettering but not just that, it still has a mansard roof the last time I went there. And the Play Place lettering has the colourful letters spelling Play Place as well. I know of 2 McDonald’s in the same city that have this feature. But I’ve seen a lot of other McDonald’s without it. I also know of a 2-floored McDonald’s in the same city as well that used to have a Play Place.

Im glad there some McDonalds that kept creative themes!
In Canada, my McDonalds are all grey buildings that make you feel like your in a office!
I've been to Carlisle multiple times and I had no idea there was a one-of-a-kind PlayPlace right under my nose. Looks super cool. So well themed!
I like that some remodeled McDonald’s locations keep the play structures, so some play places can still remain in locations.
Yeah, my local McDonalds still has a PlayPlace and a pretty old Ronald McDonald coloring page hanging on a window
Same. I pass by a McDonalds going to and from my parents' house and it still has a PlayPlace.
Wow, that’s an interesting Playplace! 😀👍🏽
I miss seeing old McDonald's PlayPlace when I was very young good old days.

When I said Play Place, I meant on the outside. Spelling out Play Place with the colourful letters on the exterior.
