I bought a Maxpedition gearslinger bag years ago and I can’t kill it. It’s my EDC bag. It carries my lunch to work everyday,I use it on day hikes, it carries my electronics when I’m car camping, and it’s my hydration pack on backcountry motorcycle rides. It’s definitely been a life time investment.
I had (and still do) the maxpedition meththosaleh bag. I used it for work every day for 6 or 7 years till one of the side zippers doesn't hold anymore. It's Still a solid bag though. I may try the backpack . thanks for the video.
I’m a sucker for Maxpedition gear. I love my, pygmy falcon, my condor, my kodiak, my ironcloud, my riftcore and all of my organizers. One might say I own well enough of Maxpedition gear. Nevertheless am I in the market for a falcon II, III and a Tiburon.. surely you guys understand I really really need to add them to my collection…which should be my next pack?
Not surprised, with entity and prepared citizen they went down a different path and maybe those didn't sell too well. Plus we got inflation and covid supply chain issues, everything went up and price while quality went down. I think thats effected everyone, maybe except vertx and others that are way too expensive.

Am I missing something? It looks like the Havyk 1 and Havyk 2 are reversed on Maxpedition's website.
I own quite a few pieces of Maxpedition gear for years. I cannot recommend them more highly.

I like these bags, nice and streamlined. The 500 denier is honestly better, their 1000 denier is too stiff honestly..
I have the prepared civilian basic version and yeah, I don't really like the 1000 denier on that one. A little too stiff and stubborn.
I like Maxped, but their bags seems to favor bugging out with just a pistol for protection…

Ridiculously overpriced. It’s a big no for me. Look at a Carhartt back pack for a 1/3 of the price.
