Hey , I know these kind of pots (Germany) I think the round thingy is a stand . To prevent it from rolling . I guess you can convert them into normal standing pots ( has it a hole in the bottom half ?)
I immediately thought two different stands, too. The hook one can be attached to the wall, and the little white piece is a plug to keep the water inside the saucer
Your last Hoya video inspired me to finally get my first one. I’ve been eyeing them for their interesting foliage for a while but I’m silly and had no idea they could bloom in such a pretty way!
I have that variety of Hoya and it does indeed climb. I have a hoop in the pot and use orchid clips and the tendrils wrap themselves around the hoop. The plant is beautiful when those heavy tendrils are supported and the leaves can face upwards.
The white cap is to fill in the hole at the bottom of the pot so when it's hanging you don't look up and see the hole underneath maybe? I imagine the round piece is a stand and would stand better with a plant in the pot so it's weight holds it in. And yeah I see the L shape bracket makes sense for the wall but I don't know that I trust it would be strong enough. (Haven't watched the whole thing so who knows I might be back to comment more XD)
Repotting a moldy orchid in New clean lecca and repotting several succulents and setting up my plant 🪴 room (I just moved). Hope everyone has a good day!!
Glad to not see the new blue potting tray. While it might be very functional, for a video...it provided too much blockage. It dominated the foreground and took up precious visual space. To add: I think that one little "disk with the short stem" is a temporary stand to use while filling the pot to help keep it upright. 😊
what a nice hoya to have 😍, splash leaves and the pots are nice, not my firsts choice though but I like the shape quite a modern look to it and I find it quite entertaining to figure out the pieces along with the pot 😅✌️
The l shaped one looks like a wall hook to hang it from with screws. The round thing looks like a stand to stop it from rolling, , and the little one I’m not certain…maybe to go on top of the stand and fit into the hole at the bottom of the bowl?
I was punching with a knife on a brick of coco coir while watching this. 😁 needed to carve out some for my large peace lily to repot it. It was badly root bound and was always thirsty. Succeeded with my mission. Repot done.
Better to root a hoya in an enclosed container with damp perlite. Works way better than water for a succulent plant. The round pot, now that you have it planted will probably sit ok in the 'accessory' round piece with the center part.
The big rounded and thin thingy (the one without the tube) probably is for keeping the 'ball' from rolling if kept, for example, on a table or a window sill, and the white cap is to close the bottom of the 'ball' if you hang it, so you don't have to see the hole it has. The other one I honestly have no idea either 😂
WAIT, does the tube have holes at its rounded base? If so, I believe it's a wall mount. You screw the base to the wall and then you insert the 'ball' on the tube

I forgot youtube doesn't allow links in the comments : P What I said was that I'm pretty sure that this is hoya memoria (formerly hoya gracilis) but you won't really be able to tell with hoyas until it blooms because the leaves and vines can change dramatically depending on conditions and maturity etc. If it is H. memoria lots of people say that it smells like butterscotch or caramel. To me it smells like the caramel on candy apples. There is like a little bit more of a fruity smell in there somewhere to my nose. But the link I was trying to send was to a reddit post where people have put together a list of the fragrances they detected in different hoyas. Danny you definitely should check it out if you are getting into hoyas more! I know you like your orchid fragrances and hoyas also have so many incredibly complex and amazing smells! If anybody wants to find the list I got it as the first search result on google with "What Do Hoya Blooms Smell Like: The Spreadsheet - Reddit" Some of them are really unusual! This spreadsheet took a toll on my plant wishlist lolol

This hoya does look like a pubicalyx splash. But I also only have 2 hoyas including this one so I will go with that. Although I've read that the flowers rrally give away the hoya species so might have to wait for the flower 😂 another cool video thanks Dani 😎

Beautiful Hoya :). I like the pot, but the hangers seem a little flimsy. Love the houseplant videos.
The hook is a bracket, you screw it to the wall and hang the basket from it. Not sure about the other bits though 😏
