If anyone puts liner in their waterline the essence stay & play gel liners are INCREDIBLE! I wear the nude every time I do makeup, last super well in my extremely watery eyes & is brightening. They also have black, brown & some gorgeous jewel tones.💕

I had to go take a peek at the new Essence products you had in your video. I don't buy much makeup anymore because I have so much, but when I do it's either Essence or ColourPop lip stuff. I love your reviews and trust your thoughts on them.
While I was looking through the new arrivals on the Ulta site, I noticed there were a bunch of new, LA Girl stuff. No one ever reviews this brand except you, but it's been awhile. Can you please do a whole face of new LA Girl. Their palettes looked pretty, I know they can be hit or miss, but I've loved mine and have even given them as gifts to family members who like makeup, but rarely buy it and don't know about these types of drugstore brands.
Essence did already have one like that jelly primer - it was the Fix & Last Jelly Gripping Primer. It was a pink color but didn’t have a scent at all. But you described it exactly with lightweight, not too sticky but enough tackiness. I love it! So I’ll have to try the new green one!

Love the look. Like Essence products especially the stay & play gel eye liners (my go to) and the mascaras (cause after about 3 months you need to get another one and they're inexpensive). A good way to try new products without spending a lot. I love subtle blushes so will have to try those new ones. Love your drugstore review videos. Keep them coming.
I've purchased many products from the Essence brand - the quality of these cosmetics are amazing :) The first mascara I tried from this brand was the Lash Princess Sculpted Volume it has a curved wand. I purchased this mascara for years until I decided to try something different. I recently tried the Call Me Queen mascara - the wand is different than what I'm used to ... this mascara is abit wet but it does dry quickly - no issues with any clumps or flakes. I like this mascara so far 😊 The Volume Boost Lash primer is another favorite too. Thank you Andrea for sharing the new gems from Essence. Take care everyone 🌹
Oh I love that mascara so much! I haven’t tried that specific one in a little while because I’ve been using the lash princess false lash effect but now I want to repurchase the sculpted volume one. I’m excited to use the new mascara a little bit more now, but I know it’s better to let it dry a little bit in between coats! I just got the Chilly Vanilly shadow palette and I like it. Nice little everyday palette.
The shadows in that palette are really pretty! I don’t know why I didn’t grab anything from that collection but it looks like there are some really pretty products!

The liquid blush looks beautiful! I have to try it. I think it looks much more natural and I love the light pigmentation. The ELF camo blush is nice, but it is one that is SO pigmented and dries very fast. I like how easy the Essence blushes were to blend. Thank you!
I’ve never found an essence mascara that didn’t flake or smudge. I don’t understand the hype. I do love the dramatic look of the 18hr stylist if I’m just going out to dinner and coming back home but would never trust it for a full day.
I have an essence highlighter pallete that I LOVE but I know is from a a few years ago so I love seeing you try out these new products!

J Cat has some multichrome eyelines, Chromatic Shock, that I find fantastic. Really multichromatic with a beautiful shift and apply easily. ❤

Hi Andrea. I have the Colourpop Multichrome BFF Crème Gel Liner in Wild Idea (green) and I really love it. Not a liner, but I have the Catrice Space Glam Chrome Eyeshadow in Galaxy Lights (also green) , and it is a winner for me. The other colours for both look really pretty, but I haven't tried them yet.
You should try the Juicy Pang K-Beauty liquid blush! It is the perfect light/medium blush with a very light formula!

Hello Andrea...if you haven't yet,, you should try the Moira Supernova Multichrome Gel Liner. They are beautiful! My favorite is the 009 Buzz color. 😊

I have the blush in the lilac color and it is perfect for my light skin with cool undertones. I also love the slim lipstick in brickroad and baby got blush. Shape is perfect for smaller lips and wore beautifully until lunch.

The Blush Crush powder blushes are amazing - we got them a while ago in Europe. I have all colours and most are matte and a few of them have a glow. The combo of the one you used + the one called something with rose is an amazing combo.

MY FAVORITE OF ALL TIME GLOSS IS THE ESSENCE EXTREME SHINE AND THEN ON THE BOTTOM IT SAYS VOLUME. IT'S FABULOUS AND ABSOLUTLY GORGEOUS ON THE LIPS. IT LASTS PRETTY LONG IF YOU'RE NOT EATING. LOVE YOUR CHANNEL!

Honestly, the chrome liners from Sheglam are really great. I know some people find them controversial, but they just have a lot of great makeup.

I recently tried the blush in the same shade and I feel like its very similar to hope from rare beauty but the formula it's just like a random blush i bought from shein years ago before it was like sheglam and i loved it so much but it wss discontinued and then i tried many liquid and cream blushes but nothing like it and this one is exactly like that and I love it
If you are looking for a great, vibrant duochrome eyeliner, check out the Colourpop BFF liner. I have it in five colors, and I love them all.

I am truly not a fan of blush. I like it on other people, not on myself. But these essence liquid blushes are truly gorgeous. I don't wear foundation, but it still looks so pretty on the skin. I got the very pinky shade and it looks so good on the skin. I might buy the dusty rose one also 👀. But I must set it with some powder or else it will fade in a few hours.
Honestly, the eyeliner on the waterline looks gorgeous on you, it gives the most subtle purple effect. It makes your eyes pop!
I might have to check out these lipsticks 🤔. They look like a very good "on the go" product.
I love the Essence Lash Princess mascaras but they don't love me :( I have tried a couple of different ones and for some reason they flake on me, which makes me sad because I love how they look on my lashes. I wish that eyeliner was more pigmented because those colors are so pretty! I bought the orange duochrome eyeliner from Colourpop and I can definitely recommend those!
I hear that a lot! Oh my gosh they are the flakiest flakers on me!! My teen daughter loves them though. Not sure ifbtheyvjust don't flake on her or if she just doesn't realize?
I also hate mascara in general because I swear the all flake on me. But essence flakes the worst. Lol
I was at Ulta in person last week and they did have the blush crushes--I bought the one in strawberry flush--it's SO PRETTY!--but it literally crumbled in the bag as I was walking to my car, I guess. LOL. I was able to just smush the product back into the pan (didn't even have to use alcohol) and it works just fine (and is beautiful!) but I wish they'd worked on the texture a little more so that they didn't break so easily. I'd order all the other shades if I weren't sure they'd arrive crushed!
Kaleidos makes incredible multichrome eyeliners, and through today (July 18th) they've got a 15% sale going on! So right now their liners are $13.60. They're all gorgeous, but if you're specifically looking for something blue/purple I suggest the shade Night of Creation.

Andréa, would the Catrice True Skin foundation work well on someone with normal skin but fine lines (45+)? It’s on sale, and I have it in my cart (because of your many raves).
Yes! I honestly honestly think you would love it. I would recommend priming with a good hydrating or even smoothing primer and then going in with a light layer and really blending into the skin. I think that will give you the best results based on your skin type! 💗

Hi there, if you have dry skin, moisturize your skin super well. I’m 50 and I ❤love❤ that foundation, I do have dry skin so I do some good moisturizing prep and it stays on all day. Hope this helps. 😊
I love that essence 16 hr powder foundation. I don’t find it look super heavy on the face .

Does anyone remember, oh about 4+ yrs now the Essence lip gloss from a mermaid? collection? They had multi-chrome lips before anyone else I swear. There was 2 glosses. 1 was orange with a pink shimmer flip and the other one was a purple base with a greeny-flip shimmer. I loved them

I think essence and catrice need to be cracked down on for the lack of shade options for POC. Their main foundation and concealer has orangey shades in the medium+ range. Their bronzer and blush is basically only for a light medium skintone and barely scratches a medium. They are a cheaper brand so people give them passes but it's not fair, why should POC not have to products for low prices. It's a another piece of the systemic inequality pie where POC are sidelined in any way that's convenient to others. I believe both sister brands are from Germany in what world are they representing the diversity in Germany let alone the U.S or the rest of the world that they are clearly trying to sell to.
Their foundation/concealer launch last year was an absolute mess and definitely unacceptable. It was good to see they did end up expanding after consumer feedback but that should have definitely been the shade range from the launch. Hopefully that will be the case for future complexion launches. I agree that inclusivity goes beyond complexion launches though which is something a lot of brands and consumers tend to gloss over.
