Awesome video and I hope we'll see more like this in the future! I had the pleasure to see Kiste's work in person and I must say the video can not truly do justice to this beautifully painted army and painting style. Bravo!
I had the pleasure to see and admire his army in person a couple of times now. Be assured, they look even better on the table. So, I want to let you all know: If Kiste ever should sell his army, I am the first in line 😅
I'd love to see the tutorial, the basics could be used on any army in many games, I didn't even think of using contrast/speed paints for grimdark, this has made me rethink going forward
I absolutely love the grimdark style, I have only just recently discovered it and I cannot get enough of the beautiful work it produces. I'm trying to do Grimdark Starks (GrimStark if you will) and this is inspirational.
@@ramza813 Hey Ramzaz, we omitted the colors used, as we will make a painting tutorial in the next weeks where you will get a step by step guide including all colors used! We didn’t list all the colors or mention them all in the video. We mention I believe a few of the technical colors.
@@ramza813 Kiste used inks to color the miniatures over a black and white underpaint, then used an oilwash to tone everything down a bit and bring the colors together. Lastly he painted details like rust, scratches on the metal and did the basing. As Rusty stated, we will have a detailled tutorial soon where the colors will be listed. Also feel invited onto our Discord and chill, chat, paint with Kiste and all of the other amazing members of the Hits and Crits fam!

What an amazing teaser for the real "how to". Until the end I thought: Damn. Show me the paints you used!🎉
We will launch the full tutorial soon, my friend!
We put the colors in the description now. The tutorial on a Greyjoy unit is still a few weeks away. Hope it helps!
Thank you guys for showcasing this invredebile army. Really feel inspiration for my own future projects.

I remember that offer and you surely were the first to ask, but I still don't think it will happen anytime soon 😉🤣
Was so much fun talking about this army. Hope to see it live soon. And.. I have to try oil washes... can't wait to see a tutorial on the technique.

@@ChaosLordBerkit is from versatlieterrain, my answer was deleted because I posted a link and only now realised it, sorry!
What paints were used? Can you list in comments or description please? Can't have volume on at work
