This short film reminds of how bad the content on youtube frequentely is. Just people comparing and complaining about this or that on cameras. Your film reminds me that none of that crap matters. What matters is what youre able to express through your vision, using the camera as a tool. Great content, man. thanks for sharing those feelings
reno rodrigues Thanks a lot Reno! I totally agree with you. Too much noise in YT. There are so many great tools out there. We are lucky to have access. Trying to focus more on life, family, friends and nature...
Another beautiful film - so humbling! How are manufacturers not throwing gear at you! Amazing work! I no longer need to go into nature, I just watch your films - Haha... Simply beautiful.
Absolutely stunning! Loved the film, the place, the sounds and music.. Everything matched perfectly! I'm receiving my X-T4 tomorrow and hope to be able to do some filming soon on the Faroe Islands 😁
Woww, du machst echt wunderbare Aufnahmen. Ein schönes Grading, ein toller Schnitt und die passende Musik runden deine Tolle Arbeit ab. Viele liebe Grüße!!!!!!!
This is absolutely beautiful. Thank you for sharing! I've been looking at the Fuji X-T4 for some time and this video really helps me see what it's capable of.
Thanks a lot Leona! In my opinion there are no more bad cameras made. We are lucky to have access to these amazing tools! I hope u get the best camera for your needs :)
Beautiful shoots!! Really enjoyed watching your Cinematography and Color Grading. Pics tells so much story!! I would watch your movie if you ever make one. :)) do you give color grading lesson? I just started learning.
Thank you so much Sausan 🙂 I don't do much for grading. I think the secret is to shoot in good light. Color grading gets easier once you know how to find good light. I would recommend Waqas Qazi's channel to learn about color grading. He is really good!
Hey Thanks Tom! My setup changes a lot but I usually try adding all gear used for the specific video in description. This was mostly shot on XT4 and Fuji 18-55mm. Nothing too fancy
Wow, stunning shots and amazing colors! I am a big fan of your music selection. Also, big respect to you for focussing on good composition and timing instead of doing fancy transitions and putting everything in slow motion, I really appreciate that 😎
@@alma175w @barparildar no disrespect but there's only one person that appears in this video besides the people in the back. i do get where you're coming from, but if two people investing time into each other doesn't also come with some sort of ups and downs then it's a pretty boring story. the video is absolutely beautiful and definitely interesting to look at - no doubt there's amazing talent put into this video, but i could see this video being so much more with a little bit of an arch. you know what i mean?
Very nice...I just got a TX4 ....Just learning still..love ur style. You need to come downunder for a spell and document some moments of your life...I live in New Zealand you and your camera would be in paradise.
2020 isn't over... and i think Fujifilm will shock us with a R5 / A7SIII beater. 15 stops DR and RAW video. I pray at least because these colors are so beautiful and the rendering is so wonderful. It's the promised child.
Beautiful video! I just switched over to Fuji from Canon and am already so happy with my X-T3. It just feels so good in the hands and produces such beautiful imagery. Beyond excited.
Thanks a lot man! I wish Canon improved their dynamic range like Fuji did. I am trying to sell my EOS R too :) Hope u make some awesome videos with your X-T3!
@@barparildar I totally agree! That DR was a big selling point of getting me over to Fuji. Honestly too, just the look and feel of the camera just feels right as well
I've read almost all comments on all your videos and I do understand your view on the unnecessary camera battle, and how they all are great tools. As far as cameras qualities goes, I'm well aware the biggest downside is me, the shooter... I would like your opinion if it makes sense to buy a X-T4 over the X-T3 mainly for video, given it is €600 more and I will be using a gimbal. It's not in the sense of a battle, just spending the best way I can the money I almost never have. Thank you for your time.
Hey man! I wouldn’t chose XT4 over XT3. If you are using a gimbal and don’t need the flip out screen I don’t think it is worth spending that much money. I don’t own any Fuji cameras. The ones I am using are all test cameras. If I had to pick one, I would go with XT3
I love your videos and the mood you create; it's so serene. I am curious and excited about your process of making these videos, especially how you achieve such cinematic visuals. Would you be willing to share your knowledge for amateur videographers like me to learn from?
Glad you like them! Thank you :) I really work hard to get these images. If I can't get the light or composition I want I don't shoot. It includes hiking for hours, waking up in the middle of the night to catch sunrise or waiting until sunset even I have to drive back home in complete darkness for hours.
Thank you man! I am pretty sure you can get very similar results with a Canon. Recent cameras are all good. There is not much difference in between anymore
Hey Garrett! I expose for highlights using zebras. For grading I have some luts I created before. Modifying them slightly and doing a grade on top of that. It is saving time. I think I could achieve a similar look with Eterna Lut + grading. Cheers from Bay Area!
Thanks! It depends on what f stop you will be using and if you really care about motion blur. To give an example there was no ND filters used for this video. You can get by without using an ND if you know how to, expose, compose edit etc.
