All season tires club is here.
All season tires, AKA No season tires
On ICE 400$ per Tire won't help you.
@@Cookie_the_fox someone who has never tried studded winter tires lol.
@@Cookie_the_fox How do we drive everyday since november until april? Good spiked tires really works, trust me :)))). Hi from Siberia :))))))
Ah ah ah great!!!
close the door!!!!
Hodor- hold the door!
I m Here for the Door too !
Close the road morel like!
CLODOR!
If the first lady had closed her door, she would have gone through without touching anything
I think people now in Vancouver are realizing how important proper winter tires are. They don't make you invincible in the snow you'll get a lot more control.
I grew up in Vancouver, it will never change. 😂
This aged well
@@srinathganapathy289 Winter tires just need to be mandatory. Or if your in an accident with the improper rated tires, no insurance coverage. I think that's fair.
my dad just swap his car with snow tire and excited for the season
@@CoihChen Awesome! Good thinking
winter tires people winter tires its in the name WINTER TIRE
Eric Von depends where u live
normally in Vancouver, there is never snow like this so people do not really need winter tires...
Iron Will No one in Vancouver is going to purchase/install winter tires on the off chance that we’ll have a couple of inches of snow for one or two days. The only people who do are those who drive up to the mountains or into the interior where there’s always snow in the winter.
@@BurntRaisinToast LAst year we got hit with a blizzard that last a week, still people don't think winter tires are a good idea.
Bwm x3
This is how most Vancouver people drive without snow.....
O
Canadian version of Top Gear
Dave Rogers yup
I think they are not perfect drivers don,t use break in any case on this situation in other the vehicle would slip
Use only first gear and slow drive
All seasons + Don't know how to winter drive.
This is why you buy winter tires in Canada, you might not need them, but if you do, you’ll *need them.*
Vancouver gets little to no snow.....Nothing worthy of $1,000 snow tires And storage of all seasons.....That said Morons think they are ok on hills and bridges And 100km highways For the rest of Canada most of us Will test the roads soon as we leave the driveway ...Yup its icy Oh its compact snow today...slushy etc etc ...I run snow tires with studs And shes a 4x4 I still take it easy on roads And know better to climb/drive down a hill on a bad day
Guys, you're giving us on the other side a bad name. In winter, wear winter tires.
SERIOUSLY WHY DRIVE?
Stay safe Canadians. And great video too.
And also never forget, winter tires.
aaa ale urwał, ale to było dobre

@@kaba1996 A mógł chłop jeździć.
Do people not use studded tires on the west coast? seems everytime they get a storm videos like this pop up.
No one has them here.
you can put studded tire in northern Ontario in winter.
Oasis S. Is there a reason? like are they illegal to use or do most people just not buy them?
David Poon
bs, BC allows studded tire and chains in winter.
there illegal southern Ontario all u need is some good quality winter tires the thing is BC doesn't get much snow so people don't no how to drive
This is why u should always need a snow tyre during winter!😆
If you don't know how to drive in winter conditions,DON'T DRIVE.
How else can you expect to learn how to drive in winter conditions if you dont go out and drive?🤣
cheapskates dont want to spend on winter tires. thats what you get
Mai Le It’s ice man. Don’t matter what kind of snow tire you have.
@@Harlanmote true
@@Harlanmote Yes it does very much / Swede
But you also need to know not to lock your brakes because that removes 100% of the steering ability.

Japan: "We are experts in drifting"
Canada: "Glug Glug....hold my Caesar"
Well over here in Alberta we don't really have that problem , a good winter tire with studs , I change them , in Oct and change back in March and they've lasted 12 seasons and my matrix is a tank
There are 0 to 5 maximum snow days per year in Vancouver.
Problem is people don't know how to drive on snow.
It's interesting to see people from another city in another continent reacting to snow the same way as Britons XD (Vancouver's climate is similar to the UK's from what I know)
in sweden we have something called dubbdäck (winter tires with screws)
Шипы рулят на зимней дороге 😎❄️
Lol and someone once said Vancouver never gets snow..
"I can't stop! Waail! WAIL!!" Yes, that is obvious!
This is why investing snow tires is a very good thing. Long run costs less than insurance claims.

Me when I'm eating Pringles even it doesn't taste anymore at the middle.
In general, Vancouverites are too cheap to go purchase snow tires for their safety and the public's safety. These are the same people who have no problem spending $5 every morning at Starbucks.
More like ten :)
This cheap white people in Vancouver love Whole foods and urban fare organic produce & food.
It’s not from being cheap, it’s because they surely don’t think they need them, I grew up there, it’s always been like that.
lmao buy winter tires for the 5 days of snow we get?
Being from Maine I learned to throw Transmission into Neutral if sliding to slow stop I know sounds silly but it works It will stop you sooner... try it coming up to a stop sign or in a parking lot & see for yourself
The first one in the yellow Golf, if she wasn't breaking so much (locking the wheels) and if she closed the door, she could have avoided the collision...
We just needed the Shred it bro guy in this video and it’d be perfect
that guy in yellow Golf is increasing air resistance to slow down :D
its a female lol
wheel chains ?
I wouldn't want to live in a place like this
My car slip and skid yesterday very scary!
Ask crisfix he will tell you what to do 😂😂
Are those accidents covered by insurance companies at least?
They shouldn't be, negligence shouldn't be awarded.
They shouldn’t be
They act like they have seen snow for the first time in their life lol
Summer tires club meeting in winters….
Oh my god vancouver has good weather
This is not just due to non-winter tires, in these conditions only 2nd and 3rd gears should be used, first gear never but if you have automatic gearbox and you can't set to start in 2nd or 3rd gearbox will stuck in 1st and this happens.
Can you confirm, is it because of high engine rpm at low forward speed causing high torque overpowering the wheels causing slip?
actually you can start in second or third in automatics with manual mode, hell even in the old ones
Grip wheels plus slow braking and gear balance
That is why you buy winter tires.
how do you leave your house knowing you’re going to slip n slide lol.
There is where ? USA ?

awwww man
so. pain. full. must. gouge. eyes. out.
I find it so funny to watch such videos from Siberia .
Does anyone in Canada use winter tires?
remove some air from tyre and make it flat... it may work
silly solution
Or just run winter tires, would work better.
Its Vancouver, might as well be San Diego of Canada
A country like this that is used to harsh weather should know better by ploughing & gritting BEFORE any damage is done Why has this not been cleared & made safe?
Watching this in Finland makes me wonder... ???
No winter tires
someone explaine that woman that car doors don't work like sails
Better get used to having more snow ....Winter is Coming !
Even in BC or stay home !
Stressing video
maybe use tires with spikes?
Why they dont use snow chains?
Im happy that Winter Tires are mandatory in Quebec. it makes huge difference . always put Winter tires
It is unfair to compare Quebec's climate with Vancouver's. Vancouver does not get much snow because of its oceanic climate.
Studed tires are illegal in nj
good thing my car is AWD
But it doesn't snow here so....
damn
ballhead tires and ice dont mix
Person In yellow car is ridiculous. You would think that was someone from California or Florida driving for the first time in winter. 😂
Alright i won't forget my snow chains this time
this is what hapopens when tiktokers start driving
No winter tyres?
A rwd car with winter tires v.s an awd car with all seaon who would win? The rwd car would win in my opinion because the tire is what connects you to the road and if that connection is minimized or lost then your ability to live may be compromised, or you may at least have a hefty bill. Oversteer is correctable with the proper knowledge and training, understeer... not so much.
a rwd wont win! you have less wheight on the tires and less connection to the ground and less tires moving the car
It will. It's all wheel drive, not all wheel stop. Winters make a huge difference
I was driving around in my CX-5 with all seasons and AWD and I didnt slip once. Obviously a lot of factors come into play here.
AWD with all season, this is a no brainer, I’m not even going to explain, you go do your research and homework.
the audi just slipe side ways
The difference slopes in Vancouver make things worse
Tooo short!!!
at least you can close the door
Okay the people in SUVs should be ashamed of themselves, their cars are capable.
No salt? No Winter tyres? No awd? 🤔
commercial for winter tires
didn't see any winter tires in this video... if you don't have the gear, stay home!
They all have summers on
Winter tires should be mandatory in ALL parts of the province. People in the North of BC end up paying for all the morons that don’t know how to drive in snow in the lower mainland. STUDDED WINTER TIRES!
why are so many people out driving in this? They cant drive in the summer time.
Aaa, ale urwał!
0:06 Doesn`t brake enough..
you shouldt lock up the wheels either
ils ont oublier de mettre les pneus neiges !!!
Съезд любителей липучки и всесезонки! 😁
No wonder something like this happens when you don't have good WINTER tyres.... AllSeason tyres or m+s tyres or what ever they are called, are garbage when there is snow and ice.
Get a grip! (& all that).
only if they didn't force everyone to go to work on days like that, the job should pay for all accidents on days like that, love it when you struggle to get to work and they only have 10 customers all day
just get winter tyres...
All seasons for life!
NO! They are NOT Good!
Legit every year in Canada
This is why I don’t drive in winter. Thanks, but no thanks
man! have to get all wheel drive and winter tires. no way to get around with it causing accident. maybe it isn't accident, it is intentional. idea of ' save some my money and mess up with you guys.'
Nah i dont need winter tires
In Russia in winter we always use winter tires.
People driving on hills without snow tires……..
People, just leave your car home when the weather is like this
then are they supposed to go to work and get back home? on foot ?????
Useless front wheel drive and summer tires - !
Front wheel drive vehicles, when properly equipped with winter tires, generally fair better in snow as all the weight is over both the driving and steering tires.
low driving school level+low driving culture+lack of understanding of what they do.
Interesting, what modern autopilot will do in such situation?
That audi was smat imo to pull up and use his bumper instead of the door
