Yes. Don't disconnect the battery, make sure that the ignition and radio are both off. I then unplugged all the cables, did my repair and reconnected everything with no issues.
Hi I would like to install rear view camera for my 2015 Manual FWD. the factory installed radio has all functions including satellite radio and Bluetooth. I have the camera and wiring. Is there a video card or port that would installed to back connections when unit s removed?

Thank you for this video. My nephews 2013 tiguan heat only blows hot on drivers side. The passenger side blows cold. Im not familiar with vw at all. Im thinking and searching/ooking for a faulty thermistor type sensor i think it might be the duct work somewhere? All his duct actuators are functioning. We were told the heater core is bad and 2200$ to replace. I know its not the heater core. Both lines to the core are hot. Any idea? Thanks

Made removal of my RDS 510 very simple, bought myself the correct pry tool for a couple of pounds and the removal went smoothly.
