Just yesterday I thought about to live on this island. Because they added this pretty big town, you have a bunker and a ww2 bunker. But after small inspection I didn't find a nice house to build a base around. And it's pretty far from everywhere with not a zero chance to get raid. PS - I believe it's common bug that craft raft disappeares, people on Reddit complained about that too.
A note on pool water - it shows as "Dirty Water" when you drink it. At some point, when Medical is fleshed out, that will likely need to be boiled or otherwise purified.

Same thing happened to me yesterday. My big raft went missing and I was stranded on an island as well. Luckly I found the same boat you've got.
Yes very lucky otherwise I would have put all my loot in a chest except my vest and wrestled with a shark ;]
It's so strange, you need two whole ropes to craft a metal sword, but it only takes a 9 uses of one rope to tie up the raft. Great job as always 👍

The raft is a bug
I have tested rafts in singleplayer mode and the are disappearing. I dont know since when but it is a bug IMO.
We need to pull the shore. I don't know if we can craft an anchor. But the spawn boats have an anchor on them.

It seems the devs took care of it. I built two rafts on our server. Both disappered after logout. With the latest update both reapeared again...
