I remember when I first watched this and I was rooting for Jesse because I didn't really like Jake for Miley and was bummed that she chose Jake but I was super psyched they were endgame in season 3 🤩 #TeamJesse
Jesse always said that reputation was the most important thing to him. did he need a star girl? he got it. however, no matter how Jake was a jerk, or Travis an episodic character, they were never forced to choose between Miley and Hannah. they didn't even need direct requests for this. Jesse was directly told, and he... you know yourself. and also, whether Miley broke up with them or not, they kept her secret until the very end.
I feel like they’re story would’ve been so much more interesting as a show with that itself instead of Miley secret life Miley story, Hannah Montana story type thing
When I think about it. She picking Jake over Jesse maybe at the moment it was the right decision until later on something happened that eventually ended Jake and Miley. From what I see Jake did care about Miley but he was a weak man who when he fell in love with Miley he was very young and so was Miley and then later on they grew up and they just weren’t a match anymore. I believe in anything that happens to us in life we can learn something from it. But at the end of it it just matters when you’re happy and make your own decisions. And the one thing I liked about Jesse was he respected Miley’s choice about Jake and I would say that action itself speaks to what kind of person he is and I believe that’s why Him and Miley ended up together. Not only because they were a match but also because they both respect each other and care for each other genuinely and a lot more stronger than when they were younger.
Haven't seen the whole series but .... besides his looks and the fact that it's cute he realised who she was without her telling him, I don't like Jesse. His way of talking sounds fake but that could just be defended as being the way he talks. That being said, a guy who looks at another girl while dating and then proceeds to ditch his girlfriend so casually for that reason is annoying in of itself. And on top of that, I might not have met Jake either, but clearly he proved there WAS a solution to the identity/"not actually cheating" issue. Jesse could have LITERALLY just stuck to dating the real "Miley" when she's off stage, avoiding "Hannah." Technically speaking, she's Miley first and foremost and he didn't HAVE to convince her to reveal her identity after how much she didn't want to do it.
And the whole Jake thing it STILL wouldve been a problem regardless😭 Jake was dating HANNAH. Jesse was dating Miley- if jesse was with Hannah then the reveal wouldnt have happened -
