That was easier than I thought. Took about as long to put all the tools away as it did to do the job. Couldn’t have done it without your tutorial.
That’s awesome! So glad it helped you! Thanks for watching!
Wow I have to pull the column to change ignition out. Good video. Thanks for the content, very helpful. I have a chore ahead of me.
Glad it helped
I like those stock looking wide rims on the car; they fill out the wheelwells nicely.
5.5 wide painted to look stock. Love them!
Great video. Thanks for taking the time to make it. Much appreciated.
Thanks for your support!
Thanks for the info!I'm enjoying the content on your channel.
Thank you!
Great video. How do you change switch if you don't have the key?
If the column is locked, that’s going to be difficult. I’ll take a look and see if I can figure it out for you.
@@dubworldvwadventures did you figure it out I don’t have a key and need to attempt this
Am also now in this predicament...
Me too, bought a buggy with no key..
I have a 69 also. I have to hold the key into the on position in order for it to not turn off. If I let go of the key the bug turns off. Is something wrong with the ignition? What could it be?
Sounds like it’s time to replace the switch.
What if keys are lost..this 1968 has been parked for 8 years.
If you have an original door handle for the car you can get a key cut by the code. If the ignition is still original the new key should work.
I don’t even have a key. So you’re telling me I need to replace the whole column because I lost a key?
You can disassemble the column or drill out the key cylinder.
Where would the code be located and who would be able to make it?
