Question. Are you selling the original templates or the duplicated ones?

I have a big question. I want to create a template on my own and sell it. Which images am I allowed to use? Do I have to buy every single image?
Photos from copyright free sites are your best bet! Because even if you bought photos and put them into the template, you’d likely need a special license to not only use the photos in the template but then also for your purchasers to use the photos in the template too 😊
@@PaigeBrunton thank you very much for the quick reply! I have read that it is not allowed to use such photos in templates that are build to sell them later? Do you have any suggestions for a site where I can get copyright free photos?

She didn't ask her the meat and potatoes...how much are you making right now? And how long did it take you to sell $1 Million. This doesn't seem like passive income either...
Ah valid point, that question genuinely didn’t cross my mind at the time! But Haha you’re right, that’s the truth about passive income. You don’t so much do the work of serving clients, you instead do the work of marketing and managing a business and customer service, so it’s not totally passive, i think it’s important people know that from the get go. I think the term leveraged income is a lot more appropriate personally.
@Paige Brunton Thanks for the response I didnt mean to come off so harsh...I do think this could be considered passive income if she has a team doing the work...and the designed templates does kind of make the service/ product passive because she created the product ahead of time as opposed to creating a custom website from scratch. I love the business model
@@rm6684 No hard feelings! You make a valid point for sure! And yeah, agreed the work that does need to be done ongoing (marketing, customer service, etc.) is def a lot more easily outsourced than say designing custom sites. It's a fab business model, as Erica said it's really a dream, just maybeee not as much sipping margaritas by the beach as some people might imagine when they think "passive income" haha
