      @@andrewcanady6644 hi, the way I’m working is daily qi gong and meditation, also including release techniques like trauma release. Developing how to centre my attention and regulate myself during the day. I’m lucky to have found a great teacher who can guide me through these processes, I feel it’s important. Ive also for the last ten years been working with psilocybin, I find it useful ( but not a panacea). When I started in my late 20’s I was burnt out and the path seemed to open out for me, to be honest I didn’t have many options and I know I needed to be in my body. That was like opening a can of worms!! I was holding so much tension and stress, but carried on and continue todo so. I’m playing the long game, or maybe lifetimes. I’m a totally different person to who I was 20 years ago, I know it can be done and the fact I feel way more relaxed within myself is testament. I also limit any stimulants, sugar/caffeine. Hope this helps, its a beautiful journey .

    Once we are born we are here, on a "real" plane of experience that has it's own "laws" of natural (in this case physical) behavior, we are to some degree "stuck."
    On or "in" our current shared plane called "the physical universe" there are physical laws that apply as long as we are alive as human beings. We can awaken to and "glimpse" our deeper planes or more fundamental reality, but to some extent we will always be limited as long as we are still "embodied" as human physical beings experiencing this physical level of reality.
    Liberation (nirvana, moksha etc) is possible when we release our embodiment aka "die" and that is the main goal of spiritual effort, but as long as we have this body we will experience the limits and effects of this body. Yes, we can progress and lessen our suffering even while alive, but total Liberation is for the next plane of experience.

      Nagarjuna himself being a Brahman need not steal. He would have propounded it as commentary on Brahma Sutra, had there been something to do with Brahma sutra. The concept of emptiness of all phenomena and no-self was not there in any of the earlier traditions. This concept was given by the Buddha during 2nd turning of the wheel of dharma at vulture peak Rajgir. Nagarjuna found it very profound and came up with his explanation of the profound view in his text mulamadhyamicakareka. Then on many others including shankaracharya explained it in their own ways. Any way, there is nothing wrong in it. Good things should be persuaded under whatever name of tradition.

    Man created religions from its spirituality. Mans ego took over from its internal knowing of this knowledge it didn't understand and created religions for control and power. Spirituality became corrupt into religions. Believe or ELSE. One does not need to 'prove' to another what one experiences in its spirituality journey. Open ones mind and spirit, or keep it closed. One simple thing that you can do is to train your attention.
      Train your attention to go inwards, and not to the mind, but further in. How do you do that? Just sit and keep concentrating on your breath. This is where most people screw up. They want to skip the hard part and just want to experience instant enlightenment. But insights take practice, time and mindfulness.
      That is what the video suggests.

    Reducing the tapas to food, money, and sex is a reductio ad absurdum. Every Soul carries lifetimes of trauma and karma. In addition, most souls are in the state of primal repression. The instincts, emotions, feelings, thoughts, complexes, and wounds are deeply repressed. The unconscious must be made conscious and the energy of the unconscious must be purged and purified. Otherwise you can talk about stages and consciousness and it means absolutely nothing. Also, these stages of life are from one person's perspective. It sounds like Adi Da Samraj's stages. Adi Da was a spiritual by-passer. If the person has not completely made the unconscious conscious and integrated all the issues and energy, the person who created this stage scheme did so with foggy perception and shallow understanding. Yes, the spiritual bypass is real because people do not want to lift a finger for their Soul. The first task is to heal one's self. The 2nd task is to integrate Soul with Spirit.

    • @solwatch39
      @solwatch39 ปีที่แล้ว

      Instincts, emotions, feelings, thoughts, complexes, and wounds get tackled in the 4th stage of surrender I feel. You let the emotions come, feel them completely and surrender them to this moment.
      Also, we also have to take into consideration that its easy to have a "victim" ego while making the unconscious conscious.
      People don't want to take responsibility, and too much responsibility leads to spiritual bypassing.

    I am so happy to see Maharishikaa Preeti in this video. I have been trapped in the jungle of Neo-Advaita for two decades. My sanity had nearly reached the point of no return when I discovered Maharishikaa. I have been following the practice of being present in my body, discerning between the noise of the ego and the impulse of the Soul and consciously bending in surrender to the Source within. Finding a spiritual practice that strengthens and solidifies my presence in my body and frees me from the crushing weight of a 'spiritual' ego is a relief beyond words. How can one pass the first three gross stages of life? I certainly am there. And as you explain, people may, as I have, experience fleeting higher states that they can not maintain. Some of the higher states are certainly intuitive to me but I absolutely am what I would consider, stuck in the lower gross levels. I would say I have an addiction to all three of the lower stages. While I think I have overcome food and sex to a very slight degree, definitely compared to the past at least, I definitely have an issue with money. The lack of and obsessive pursuit of money is an issue. Not even for the desire to own anything but the fear of not having. Which intuitively also doesn’t really make sense to me but it’s a compulsive need to not feel in lack. I go in and out of meditation practice and when I truly think about what I want from life everything points to spiritual awakening. But I am like an obese person on the verge of a heart attack who will not do the work to save their own life. I mean that, although my desire is for awakening I am obsessively attached and distracted by the lower levels of life, especially money, even though I never manage to keep hold of money even if it comes to me. Where can one truly start to get over this madness? Is it simply a case of discipline and commitment to practice?

      I am also in a similar state, which I think is pretty much the first way of bypassing pointed in the video. And as they said, we are actually stuck in this constant state of conflict between the human desires and addictions and our spiritual voice or higher self. And as they also explained, this is a battle that at its core is motivated by our seeking to escape the three first stages rather than enduring them, by bypassing and reaching that awakened state which we had experienced but couldn’t maintain, precisely because we haven’t gone through the first stages and learned how we should not try to scape but rather surrender. I think that’s the main lesson I am trying to learn in order to achieve peace within the chaos that can arrive from having these two voices colliding with each other on a daily basis. It’s very nice to know I’m not alone feeling like this and I know we will figure it out by ourselves along the way ❤

What needs to take place to actually go beyond the lower stages… I’m sure one day or in one lifetime I’ll have the answer one way or another. Good luck brother. May we all find our way.

    I suppose it's too much to ask that people refrain from reinterpreting the teaching of Adi Da Samraj to fit their notion of spiritual life. As a four decade devotee of Adi Da Samraj there are a couple of things I can say with absolute certainty; the first six stages of life do not lead to the Seventh Stage of life, or as Adi Da has said "you can't get there from here" and the Guru or Spiritual Master is not optional. Adi Da offers his devotees a spiritual practice that is unprecedented and I would encourage anyone interested in spiritual life to make an effort to study His teaching directly.

    Well, I dont entirely agree with this. The more we go around in circles with technics and bla bla bla, stages and bla bla bla makes no sense at all. You could spent your whole life trying to resolve or going through the first three stages without getting any result and I don't even mean spiritual result, thats why western society is stuck in self destruction and it is precisely why there is no need to any stage. It is not about quiting your life, its not about being a heremit or having no money, it is about putting everything in the correct place, and again, there is no need for any stage. All of this is because of the terrible missunderstanding of what spirituality is, particularly in western society. When you want to know what one thing is, then find out what that thing it is not.

      I would disagree. Going directly after higher states of intuition can lead to severe negative disassociation. I've seen many people stuck in this limbo world. It's a tough place to be in, you're not fully enlightened, nor are you of this world.
      Your method of Neti-neti (not this, not this) is powerful, but again if you don't purify the mind, your character in this world can suffer heavily, and make those around him suffer too.
      Purification of the mind comes in stages.

      @@solwatch39 as I mentioned above, that's a big confusion about spirituality. Mind doesnt need to be purify, doesnt need to this or that, trying to purify it is an act of violence that's why I said give the correct order to everything. Giving or creating a stage is a way of conditioning and you can be lied by yourself. From my perspective, and Im not saying thats what should be, we just need to be aware of the conditioning of the mind and disolve it in our strong presence, there is a strong vitality inside of us that can be perseived and that has nothing to do with deep samadhi or that kind of nonsense. I don't believe in samadhi, to me thats ridiculous, we are not here to become zombies, I dont believe in those who said that the purpose of live is to get enlightment, its stupid, if that were the case we all would be enlightend before dying. Thats the perspective of someone that doesn't follow any specific practice, doesn't follow gurus, but on the contrary has abondoned all of those practices and masters, I left them behind. Again Im not saying this is the truth, what Im saying is that we love going in circles and wasting time. We dont understand what spirituality is and as you very well said, that is dangerous. All these technicalities, stages, 'shadow work', etc. These people are spinning a ball of yarn to sell you a product. Anyone who tries to humiliate or frighten is not helping either.
    The procedure is very simple, so simple that you can't really charge money for it. So an unnecessarily complex tapestry is created that bedazzles potential aspirants, which can then be sold for a price. We used to sell external idolization in churches, now it is just cheaper to tell people to do it internally (but still pay for the process).
    'Bypassing' is nonsense. A transcendent experience naturally bypasses! It's in the definition of the word transcendence, to go above and beyond limitation and constraint! There is no need to ruminate on traumas and compulsions. You don't have to study and beat your head against the wall. Once you see the root to which all these things are attached, they begin to naturally disintegrate on their own.
    A single near death experience can radically transform a person. They didn't have to go through a lengthy process of consternation. It was automatic and the liberation from trauma was instantaneous.
    The real magic is learning how to make yourself a lightning rod for such experiences, not sitting around fawning over technicalities.

      That's bs. It's vital to acknowledge your psychological needs.
      Far too many gurus/students have fallen off the path due to a lack of understanding of their own emotions.
      Also, not everybody needs to go through a near-death experience. They are challenging to come by. Just living a pure life with integrity and proper practice can lead one to rightfully transcend.

    • @shrunkensimon
      @shrunkensimon ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@karmapeople1735 You don't need an intellectual discourse or system to understand who you are. All you need is to observe yourself, silently.
      I didn't say you 'need' a NDE. The point was that transformative transcendental experiences do 'bypass' automatically, that you don't need to go through stages or a protracted process.
      Look at Ramana Maharshi. All he did was lay down and fall into himself. No stages, no shadow work, none of that.
      Transcending does not require a laborious study. You don't need to study sex to transcend it for example, in fact the more you study it the more you get wound up in it. Same for emotional content.
      Once you see something from a superior vantage point you understand it in its totality. No need to count the hairs on your head when you can see the entire thing from above.

    • @karmapeople1735
      @karmapeople1735 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@shrunkensimon What you're not mentioning is that Ramana Maharishi comes from a Hindu lineage. He believed in reincarnation.
      Just because you've knowledge about his one life where he gained enlightenment doesn't mean that he didn't work hard for it in his previous lives.
      Neo-advaita nonsense leads you to big trouble. Look at Papaji's disciples.
      Many of them were declared enlightened, and they believed in that themselves, only to realise they were not eventually.
      You can "pretend" to not care about the body/mind but the reality is that you're embodied. Life is happening around and there is suffering, which needs to be addressed and transcended.
      Also, the intellect is a useful tool. And one should utilize it fully. Yes, there comes a time to drop it, but until then it should be used.
      Same with any type of knowledge/discourse. They are plenty useful until they are not. There's no one size fits all.
