So sweet to hear how much Willy missed Sarah. I think he was as happy as the pups to see her back home xxx I guess absence makes the heart grow fonder!
@livingtheskyelife Willie, it was heartwarming to see and hear you express deep love and respect for Sarah. Sarah, glad to hear your loving advise to Willie to relax and enjoy the bonding with the boys. The long trip to see family and friends must have been worth the time. Literally and figuratively. On another, have you thought of doing some drawings or paintings from your trip?
Willie there is nothing in life better than sharing it with a good woman. You and Sarah make a lovely couple and the respect and love you have for each other is obvious and heartwarming. Are you still a three car family? ❤
What an adorable episode! I really look forward to your videos on Sunday afternoon. I love the sound Nori's feet make running over the wet beach. Sixty years ago, more or less, I was at Grandpa's old farm riding horses with my cousin. We had gone to the back edge of the back field to check on some fences after a storm. The edge of the field was marked by a small stream, which had perhaps six inches of water flowing through it. Our horses made exactly that noise as we walked along the stream bed and it was very relaxing. But suddenly my horse saw something that startled him and he reared back. The belly band holding the saddle to his back broke and I fell onto my arse in the water, the saddle laying next to me. The horse took off for the stable and my cousin almost fell off his horse he was laughing so hard. I had to carry the saddle all the way back to the barn and had some uncomplimentary things to say to the horse when I finally got back. Nori's clopping along the beach brought to memories back instantly. I haven't thought about that I decades. Thanks for the memories!
No one but Pups can give you that unconditional love and happiness when they see you again (no matter if it’s 2 minutes or 2 days 🙈) I’ve enjoyed watching you guys, and finally made it on time (Sunday) usually have no time but today 🙏❤️🐾🥰
Willie , your spot on .. the new lobster creels are fantastic but two at a time are too much mate a length between each to allow a breather between " lifts " is a great idea " think about your back " 👍
Many years ago when working in London I shared a flat with a lass from Newcastle..she invited me to spend Christmas with her family …what a time I had ..tried a few of those pub on the afternoon of Christmas Eve …never to be forgotten …Wonderful city and fabulous folk … lovely video this week as always ❤️
How sweet that you miss Sarah when she's away for a couple of days. Ahhh. I work in Gosforth and it was quite nice to see Newcastle on film like that - it is a beautiful city, but I bet it was a relief to get back to the peace of Skye.
Great episode! Loved seeing Sarah’s home town…. I really loved hearing Willie talk about Sarah going home and that he missed her… melted my heart!! What a lovely little family… thanks for sharing your adventures with us. Have a great week! ❤😊
Happy Easter! Can I point out that Pink Lane Bakery in Newcastle belongs to the Daughter (Martha) of another TH-camr called Kate Jackson of The Last Homely House - check it out!!! Lovely to be greeted by the puppies on your return home Sarah!
There's another youtuber enjoy watching he's a Yorkshire man living in Cornwall with his family he's called the fish locker he actually has a video on how to string up moldable crab and lobster pots on a single string without killing yourself
Wow what a joourey you took to see your family and friends Sarah. Poor Willie left all on his own to look after the boys and were'nt tthey so glad that mum had come home. Thanks for taking us allong on yoour trip and see you both next week. The lobster pots look great but I think I wouold put one to each boy as if you lost one the three would go if they were all on one string.
Lovely video, beautiful scenery. Enjoyed the train journey (with the sounds of the trains clicking down the track--always loved that sound!) the towns/cities and old buildings, the dog walks/dashes in the water and the exuberant Jack-and-a-Nori reunion with Sarah! 🌻 Thank you!
You know what else is good…. Watching animals and babies doing funny things on You Tube. I watch it before I go to bed which helps put me in a happy frame of mind.
Not sure how to deal with people anymore after covid , we're getting ready for our trip to Hawaii, it's 9 hours and 45 minutes from home 45 minutes to Ketchikan 3 from Ketchikan to Seattle 6 to Hawaii in exhausted thinking about it. 🎉
Just be yourself how you used to be...too many people seem to have changed and now a lot of people aren't as sociable anymore and that's not good for human relationships/society/the world. We need to stay connected not disconnected/divided.
@Angie-fe8yd my first real travel since covid, its going to be scary at first just being around people, but once i hit Hawaii, I'm sure that fear will melt away thank you for the awesome advice and you're absolutely right! .
@aprildixon-ff1bc Thankyou 🙂 First time is scary...After splitting up from a relationship in which I had been driven around by my partner for 12 years (I don't drive.) I had to start using public transport during and after covid. I had/have to travel by 2 taxis,6 trains (that's there n back) back to visit my adult children and family....7 hours or anything up to 10 if there are train cancellations/ disruption/staff strikes ( staff walkouts have been ongoing 3 years running!) At first I felt overwhelmed, scared and afraid of getting anything not just covid (I have a primary immuno deficiency so am extremely vulnerable) I had to learn to do everything alone too and how to be with people after never using public transport for 12years.I decided I was just going to be the way I normally am sociable,friendly,nice....and I found others weren't anymore 😒 I also just took (and still do) care I had/have good hand hygiene, using gel n wipes for things too and don't touch my face...extreme maybe but it's better to be safe than sorry! Hawaii is beautiful 🥰would love to go there...Just relax and enjoy your wonderful trip...don't stress about dealing with other people, just treat people how you yourself would like to be treated... Lifes too short...chill and enjoy ✨️Happy😁Holiday🌴🍍🌊🌞🌊🍸🌴✨️
excellent video, I loved seeing all the Architecture, thank you. I get so involved in your videos because you both make them so much fun and interesting! God bless you both and your boys oh and Happy Easter 🐰🐰 🐰🐣🐣🐣 too!
My first ever comment . . . . . You guys make my week! I love Skye and I love spaniels. I would like to pass on my learned knowledge of switching the dogs food to a raw diet. I saw Willie feeding Jack and Nori their breakfast and remember my springer gorging down his kibble but my cavaliers gave me a hard time with any kibble or wet food I tried. Because of some health issues, Jasper needed a food without carbohydrates and we took advise to try the raw food diet. Sarah/Willie, you would be amazed at the results; 3 cavaliers cannot wait for mealtimes now! ALL ailments GONE. No more expensive vet visits. Our brand is 'Dougies' and it is in frozen block which you thaw out in the fridge over 24 hours. We also feed raw sprats and lightly cooked brocolli. You both impress me with your pet care and training, keep going and reap those lovely waggy tails and playtimes! xxxxxxx
Totally agree..raw food is the best. I used to be a puppy walker for Guide Dogs for the Blind and they always give their dogs raw food. I went to my local butcher each week for heart's, liver, offal etc.
Brilliant stuff. I went to uni in Noocassle, loved it. Such warm, friendly and funny people. Sometimes you've got to ignore your problems and follow your dreams.....livin' the Skye life!
I think you should put the lobster pots in on separate ropes Willie, as it will make hauling them in much easier for you. If you put them all in attached with long ropes between them I would worry that wildlife will get caught up in the ropes laying and waffling in the waves below.
Put those bad boy pots out on a string, but get yourself a small winch to get them up and into the boat! Have a great fishing season. We do shrimp pots in Alaska, and crab pots too. Having a winch on your boat makes it so easy.
Sarah! What happened? You didn't check out any charity shops while you were down south. The views from the first train were absolutely stunning. And not even a kiss for Willy when you arrived home?!
Ahaha I definitely did - I hit them all up, both in town and in Gosforth. I only found one frame to buy though, so they didn’t make it onto camera. I think the Skye ones are actually better! 🫢 Willie knows he has to play second fiddle to the dogs when I get home 😅
Willie, You might get a small electric winch to make lifting those massive Lobster pots easier. Just a thought, especially if their full or you find your self inspired to get more of them. and you might get a gaff to lift the pots out of the water when they are close to the boat, that's what the New Jersey Lobstermen used. Cheers, Rik
Sarah a very long day for you. The dogs were having a wonderful time while you were stuck on the trains, Willie and the pups were missing you heaps I’m sure. Lovely to be with your Mum for Mothers Day.
That was lovely. I’ve just discovered Newcastle (do a little work with the Uni occasionally) and absolutely love it. Thanks for sharing it. Did feel a wee bit sorry for Willie though, missing your company Sarah 🥹
Yes Sarah, that is the law. Greggs sausage rolls are yummy. I've missed them from being with my family in New Zealand. Never missed an episode from you guys thanks to TH-cam. Cheers!
I really really enjoyed. Oh wait the bloopers. Love the bloopers. OK what I started to say was I really really enjoyed Newcastle I am heading off to Germany maybe Italy and the Scandinavia is this time this summer. Delightful to see England and all of the beautiful scenery in Scotland. I have heritage from Scotland, Ireland, Wales, England, and Germany, but Scotland is definitely my bucket list. Appreciate that, Sarah. Thank you. I’m glad you had a good visit with your peeps. Always good. Willie, you shot some gorgeous footage as well. Nori just comes in like a hot mess kind of like a bull in a China closet. He’s so funny. He sure is learning a lot. Of course you boys would miss your right hand woman Really healthy to have some time to yourselves from time to time Sending love from LIZ in California💜😎🐬🇺🇸
Thanks for sharing Newcastle and a bit of your "younger" years with us. The towns have so much history and stunning old buildings. The dogs are adorable ❤❤
This is a fun video. Beautiful places were you grew up. It sure was a long travel time to get to your destination. All three of your boys missed you. See you next week. 🐣🐥🐤🐇🐰🌷🌿🇺🇸
I DID think I was in Sydney for a minute there. It was like a miniature Sydney Harbour Bridge. Didn’t realise its history. Learned something today. And yes, I bet you missed your Sarah lots. Long string between... Best of both worlds
@livingtheskyelife

Oh my gosh the sound of Nori’s galloping feet is so cute!
My father was born in Newcastle in 1924 and emigrated to the US in 1925 with his family.
Willie there is nothing in life better than sharing it with a good woman. You and Sarah make a lovely couple and the respect and love you have for each other is obvious and heartwarming. Are you still a three car family? ❤
Just the two now! Managed to sell Willie’s old car here on Skye 😊
@livingtheskyelife not so bad Sarah. Hope you've stashed the money for coffee and cakes lol.
One at a time Willie seems wisest.
Wishing you both a very happy Easter 🐣 xx
It’s always wonderful to go home again. Thank you Sarah for taking us along.
What a lovely welcome Sarah got from the boys on her return home from Newcastle 😂
Thank you for a nice love story.
Let's just say the BOY'S MISSED YOU 😂
Watching dogs pelting around with their ears waving about and their tails wagging.. pure joy!
What an adorable episode! I really look forward to your videos on Sunday afternoon.

While watching Jack and Nori snack on your crumpets, it appears Jack has learned that the word "Nori" begins with "No" 😂
How sweet that you miss Sarah when she's away for a couple of days. Ahhh. I work in Gosforth and it was quite nice to see Newcastle on film like that - it is a beautiful city, but I bet it was a relief to get back to the peace of Skye.
Love those puppy boys so much!
Goodness Nori has hectic puppy energy😂...so cute!Loved your train trip Sarah...well done with keeping the fort at Skye Willie.
Sounds like the break has been great for all of you. It’s lovely to see Nori being so active. Hope you all had a good break for Easter x

Just what I was going to add - become one of the people on Kate's Lime Green Sofa (LGS)!
Excellent.......long single string...very long
For your application Separate strings for your lobster Potts. From an ex-creel fisherman.
Thanks!
Thanks so much!!
I love your adventures and your stays at home!!!
😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
It’s nice to be apart sometimes ❤❤
Willie, lucky you having lobster 🦞 available on your doorstep 😊
There's another youtuber enjoy watching he's a Yorkshire man living in Cornwall with his family he's called the fish locker he actually has a video on how to string up moldable crab and lobster pots on a single string without killing yourself
Happy Easter 🐣 ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I would put a line on one on each pot so you can spread them out in a area.
Stunning scenery by the way ❤️
Nice to see views of Newcastle. My only exposure to the city was the rail yard and station on my trip from London to Edinburgh.
❤❤❤❤❤😊. Happy Together
I would do 1 at a time mate due to how heavy they will be when wet and full 😊
Wow what a joourey you took to see your family and friends Sarah. Poor Willie left all on his own to look after the boys and were'nt tthey so glad that mum had come home. I had no idea that Newcastle had such beautiful architecture. Now I need to visit that city.
It often gets overlooked, probably because of its reputation as a party city 😅 But it has a lot of history & great architecture too!
Those pots are heavy but should last you for ages Willie. Wishing you lots of success.
Lovely to see Newcastle. Never been there but wish I had. We fed our “boys” in separate rooms so one dog which ate more slowly wasn’t rushed.
excellent video, I loved seeing all the Architecture, thank you. I get so involved in your videos because you both make them so much fun and interesting! God bless you both and your boys oh and Happy Easter 🐰🐰 🐰🐣🐣🐣 too!
I am dizzy and exhausted just watching Nori.

Very good point. More risk of snagging along the sea floor too - as opposed to single lines going straight up to buoys. Thanks 👍
Put those bad boy pots out on a string, but get yourself a small winch to get them up and into the boat! Have a great fishing season. We do shrimp pots in Alaska, and crab pots too. Having a winch on your boat makes it so easy.
One at a time and three buoys!
A long but beautiful journey.
Thank you for showing lovely views as you traveled!!!
Happy Easter to all of you.

Thanks so much!!
One of the best episodes so far! Loved it!

Very glad I found yor channel a month ago or so. Really enjoying it. Well done & brilliant
Got to be one at a time for the lobster pots .what a great episode … love the vibe you two have together and with your boys . 😊
Thank you for bringing us along!
Lovely video as always, thanks so much!
One at a time with the lobster pots, lines are for larger boats with power winches. Great video.
I really think hopping and “doing, doing, doing” needs to be a weekly sign off… 😂😂😂 I’m still giggling from that one😊
Thanks for taking us along for the weekend! 😊
Enjoyed your trip to Newcastle and I would like to wish you both a happy easter x
Fun to see the bridge from a lot of my British drama’s.
❤️
Newcastle is my home town too. Lovely to see the sights again, thank you.
BTW, one pot at a time I reckon Willie.
Waiting on at spoons respect button - 🫡🫡🫡
This was a fun video!

Happy Easter on Skye!
Happy Easter 🐣 Sarah
Yes Sarah, that is the law.
Greggs sausage rolls are yummy. I've missed them from being with my family in New Zealand. Never missed an episode from you guys thanks to TH-cam. Cheers!
I loved travelling by train while on my visit to Scotland.
Me too, I could watch the scenery for hours whether it was houses or fields, I loved it all. A cup of coffee and a sausage roll…. Bliss

Thanks Liz! So glad you enjoyed it 😊
It’s was very very nice xxxx❤❤❤❤❤
One at a time. Perhaps you could making some sort of line puller like on deadliest catch.
Thanks for sharing Newcastle and a bit of your "younger" years with us. The towns have so much history and stunning old buildings. The dogs are adorable ❤❤
One of my recent favorites. Wonderful contrast between Sarah's travels with Willie & pups'.
Hi, Sarah and Willie. I liked this video. See you next week❤️❤️❤️❤️
That was lovely, thanks!
Happy Easter 🐰🐣 I love your train ride! I want to.go on one so much.
Good luck with your lobster pots. I would have thought dropping them in different spots would have maximised your chances of a lobster thermidor supper. 😎
