Train Spotting at Doncaster Station 2/4/2024

I went train spotting to Doncaster station and got lucky to see the blue HST set, A class 57 loco, and a few class 66 locomotives. It was pretty slow starting but picked up through the morning. To the local Donny spotters thanks for making me welcome with your info and chats.

What a blinking noise that 66 is making!! It sounds a bit like the Class 20!! And that’s no compliment!!

I love trains too, but it no longer goes as far as working at a heritage railway!! I retired from the Epping Ongar Railway this year, having been too ill to do it last year.

At point 13.50, loco listed as 66308, it is in fact 66303.

That face is a bird scarer, often seen in farmers fields, don't know why it should be in a railway yard though
