I love Paul Aster’s literary voice and his actual voice. I could listen to him all day.

This book makes me want to write my own version of four opportunities for the living of my own life. I went through those years myself and I like to see them reflected in Auster. I wish he had lived longer.

So wonderful, thanks for uploading! But I wish they'd had comfy sofas to sit on. :-)

I want to hear him read his poetry, which - in my opinion - far, far overshadows his prose.

really wish politics was kept out of the discussion. definitely took away more than it added to the interview and it would be a stretch to say it helped to significantly illuminate the themes in his book. great interview up to that point :)
