I like the lip-duos! It's nice for someone like me that doesn't wear a lot of lip products and like the convenience of an all-in-one product. I struggle to find the right lip liner to match a main lip color because pictures are never as accurate as in person when buying online. I worry about looking like a clown with a lip liner that clashes with the rest of the lip! These duos are more affordable than buying a liner and separate lip product!
I’m a middle school art teacher who LOVES Pop Art. Totally agree with your suggestions. I wish they had also added some more Lichtenstein elements to the packaging, like a comic book style girl. And I now have an obsession with Super Shock Shadows ❤️ Thank you and keep up the great content!

This is a brilliant idea, especially for lip products! I am hoping they release a set of deeper nude and red/plummy shades. I think/hope this idea is not just a one-shot because the cost of the assembly machines makes sense for these to be a permanent idea.
Once again, the cute artwork on the blushes is wasted on cartons that are (usually) tossed out anyway. Wish they had released empty palettes with this pop art design! Not picking anything up from this collection since there are so many re-promotes of shades I already have. Thanks for the thorough review!
Man I liked the purple-pink-black one until I saw how similar the purples were. CL is going in a good direction with these though. I think your blush idea, I would’ve just done 2 matte blushes instead. Maybe one light/dark or a complimentary color to customize the shade.
I love these dual ended lippie stix! I'm also really intrigued by those eyeshadow sticks... I just wish that these double ended sticks were available as singles outside of those trios. Because I'm only really interested in one stick per set...
Picked up Kitsch because I prefer CP's matte finish blushes & I like peachy and orangey shades for everyday. I agree that this collection could have been larger with more duo offerings, but I was thinking maybe duo eyeliner pots like what glisten cosmetics offers would have been a great addition for this collection. The Glisten cosmetics ones are popular in the EU and I would love for something similar to release in the US.

My Pop art purchase arrived today. I got the full lippie set and the Seltzer Pop Eye trio. I haven't swatched yet, but right off the bat, my first thing I noticed it that I wish they had color coded them a little bit better. With the caps on there's only a tiny thin color coded band that shows and especially on the Lollipop trio it is a nearly identical shade, and the shade name writing is so tiny (and I assume it will rub off pretty quickly as the printed writing on their packaging tends to do)
maybe if they did crème cheek duos like the other products with blush on one side and bronzer on the other. I also really want them to bring back the crème eyeshadow pots.
Sunday Morning is a repromoted shade. I had it, but threw it away because it was so incredibly dry....I couldn't even swatch it on my hand. I hope they fixed the formula.
I had similar lippies from years ago, they were a holiday collection. They were cool but they keep falling out. Hope they have improve that, they have years to make them better.

Would you say this color stix formula is more along the lines of PPG or the other stix they had? I know there was a lot of issues with the formula for blending and layering purposes
I think the duos are a great idea, but the repromote on the eyeliner part of all of them is a turn off. I have most of those colors and don't super love the eye stick I have enough to get dupes on the eyeliners. Something I would consider for the next 25% off sale as a maybe.
This collection is giving me real millennial tween vibes like the barbie and lizzy Maguire collabs. I do not like. But the duo components are a good idea. They are in dyer need of some sophisticated colour ways for the eye duos. Your powder highlight duos need to happen. So do your cream cheek duo stix. I would add contour/bronzer duo stix to that list too.
"Pop Art" doesn't suggest shimmers in my opinion. Bold matte powders, liquid or gloss. I say that loving a shimmer and Random looks prettiest to me... just seems out of theme. The lippies are tempting, just a bit more bright red and coral than I like a lip with my complexion.
I feel like they kind of missed an opportunity with the blushes. I like the color choices. I just think it would have been a bit more “pop art” had they done a blush quad. Make a nod to Andy Warhol.
I dislike Colourpop moving toward more plastic packaging. It’s bad for the environment, breaks really easily, and is less pretty and more bulky than the cardboard packaging.
I really wish colourpop would take a minute and quit pumping out so many collections. They are repetitive and ridiculous. I have completely stopped buying anything from them.
