Yep you right I don't have the fancy fish finders by might get updated soon I am stuck in the old tradition ways. What I do when I go to a new body of water is look for structure such as docks, trees, logs, rocks, fountains that spray it the water basically any type of structure even the small concrete slabs you see at alot of places. This is if I am bank fishing or in a boat. Also if you in a boat and you can't find any fish go to 5ft deep from shore as you go out further from land check the deep to find the drop off. It should be like 5ft, 7ft and than it can drop to 12ft even 20ft instantly that's the placed you want to fish. You can also get out in the 15ft of water toss toward the land and slowly slowly reel it back and you could pick up suspended fish. Good luck on your next outing.
@@oneofusonearth They will most definitely go deeper than that you can catch fish on the bottom of a lake 30ft deep. I would just start with 5ft down to 15ft in anybody of water I fish. I mainly fish for bluegills, crappies and bass they all hang around those depths but will go deeper.
They go really fast they use to keep them in stock but with covid everyone getting outside so they go really quick. Try Cabelos and Academy also they have them. They are some seriously good small boats and stable like a floating pontoon boat.

It's a 8ft Pond Powler from Bass Pro Shop it coat me 650.00 and was with it. 2 people can get in it easy.
