I'm 64 and over the last few years, I've been little by little teaching myself to sew. My mother was quite the sewist, but I'm afraid she never had time nor patience to teach me. I've spent many hours watching videos much like yours that are kept simple without throwing in complicated methods or unnecessary language. I love this…my brother passed away unexpectedly in Nov (he was 64 years old) I have a few pair of his jeans and I’m gonna make these bags for his wife,daughter and daughter in laws and maybe a few smaller ones for his granddaughters…
Sorry for your loss. He was young to pass at 64. This is a beautiful idea to honour your brother’s memory ! A piece of his clothing for each of his family member to carry or use. Very touching indeed. You’re a wonderful sister to think so fondly of him.
