One of the bully Vulcan kids at 0:39 was clearly very distressed at Spock beating that guy up, and these kids are relatively big(ish) so at what age or time do Vulcans actually purge their emotions? Just asking cuz I'm curious
Honestly, it comes with age. Vulcans don't "purge" their emotions completely unless they undergo Kolinahr, an ancient Vulcan technique and ceremony used to basically keep all emotions at bay and never really.. feel them.
@@Leo-sd6pw Also, the Romulans are descended from the Vulcans` primitive ancestors who broke off from Vulcan and relocated to Romulus in protest when the species renounced emotions!That is why both species have superior strength to most humans although the Vulcans reserve that strength for incapacitation and resuscitation in-keeping with their pacifistic nature whilst the Kelvin-era Romulans similar to their Reman cousins from "Nemesis" (Also an underrated film IMHO)use it more aggressively!
Well done video, but I must still say, being a fan of the Original Rodenberry Trek, that it is just Beyond tactless, that it goes Against ALL Creative Norms and Acceptance, that JJ Abrams would have thought it even REMOTELY Acceptable to steal the concept of KHAN, from the Original Series, then to steal the very Foundation of the #1 all Time Star Trek Movie, The Wrath of Khan, and rewrite the idea, because I assume he is not talented enough to create his own Movie Theme........but most horrific of all....to trample all over an iconic Moment....to try and redo that Untouchable Scene between Kirk and Spock... (Shatner/Nimoy) from the Original Movie!.....just screams of how little regards and respect Abrams has for Gene Roddenberry and Trek Fans. This Concept of Mirror Universes, fine....but gosh lets just jerk this particular one "universe" around to suit the needs to the Writers and Producers to make a fast buck....nope! Degrades the Entire Trek Universe, as a Whole. At least some Fanfiction Writers have managed to salavage the New Trek, while others have floundered in the mismash of the Abrams Illogic!
