Hi collette have you ever looked into electroculture? Amazing growing conditions to all plants and trees from simple measures harnessing the ether to earth.
The area behind you is just lovely. I really love the mirror on the mantle but of course I just love everything about your cottage. So glad to hear that you feel more energetic at 68. I'm 71. Thank you for sharing your videos. 😊
I find nature, wildlife, animals are so very healing to my soul. I often feel overwhelmed by life and, you are SO right, Mother Nature is the only thing that makes any sense 🥰🥰
Hi it’s Marian Gerry’s wife due to illness Gerry doesn’t use any more ,I’m not clever enough to change things any way just found your channel, what a joy. I’m house bound so to follow you outside is lovely.
So wonderful for you to be outside again, tending your garden, and that bird song just lifts your heart, does it not?! You being out there, made me get up off my posterier, and go out into my tiny front bit I have, and clear all the dead stuff left over from the winter! Thank you Colette. I saw two beautiful deer this morning, on my walk in the Devon country lanes, with my rescue greyhound Madge. I feel so lucky to see such things. I heard the owl in the trees the other morning at dawn, and I see a couple of buzzards flying overhead most mornings. Infact, I can be sitting in my bed with a cup of tea, and looking out of the window to see the buzzards and squirrels on the trees outside, how lucky am I?! Bless you too. xxx
Hi Collette, just watched this now, how I adored this video… was so humble and peaceful, love watching you do your thing … when you said time to have a cuppa… I paused and made one too…I feel like I’m there with you. Thankyou for sharing, so great of you to invite us into your home and journey.💚
Oh Colette, the joy your videos bring me. I simply can't express how uplifted I feel as I walk through your woodland and garden with you. I just love it all and enjoy the time with my virtual friends! Thank you so much for allowing us into your home xx
Going through stressful times, I can't watch the news or anything negative I find. I do find myself seeking out channels like yours however. Nature is soothing. This year I'm going to spend most of my time outdoors. Thanks for your inspiration x
I totally understand. I don't watch the news hardly at all...too upsetting and disappointed in my county's government and politics. I'm focusing on creating my own garden area and hopefully will be successful since I'm not an experienced gardener. I just ordered some fruit trees for particular zone 9 in Texas.
Today I'm burning small branches in my woodstove. It's giving heat just fine! That makes me happy because now I know managing my forest will be easier.
I love the birds singing!! I’m fortunate to have big trees and smaller bushes to accommodate the birds. I love creating a haven for them with water and food. Love your part of heaven on earth!! ❤
I live vicariously through your videos. I've spent the last 3 months in Alaska, most of it in darkness and extreme cold; but hopefully returning home this week. My home is in a high desert, 4,450' in elevation, so we get cold snowy winters and Spring isn't until the end of March. Then around May 1st we are into summer (80° temps), so I hope to be able to work on my gardens soon. Bright Blessings for Imbolc 🌞💐🌿🐑
I planted bulbs in display pots after your video, Colette, and today, my first daffodil bloomed. I'm so glad I did that. That gold ochre coat/jacket is so flattering to your tone. You were glowing in the video.
Years ago now, somehow, I first landed on your video when you were in the cottage, holding the camera out into your garden through the open door.. what I saw stopped me in my tracks.. quite transfixed with all the flowers and trees swaying about .. I could feel the magic you have and continue to bring to your garden. I think most folks are not as confident to cut back as they might just growing things.. it takes vision for the the next phase of growth.. whether it is the next season or the next branch on the tree from where you chose to cut. I love the light you are bringing in to the gardens..looking forward to spring!
Colette, I can hear the joy in your voice. It smiles. 😃 Thank you so much for sharing your garden and home as you prepare for the season ahead. I loved ever moment spent with you at Bealtaine today. Thank you.
Oh I wish it were like that here -- deep snow and cold for some time yet. It's all looking good at Beautiful Bealtaine! Mother Earth is the only one who makes sense!
Can you give us a tour if your town? The stores you go to, like the grocery and garden stores? I just got curious. Thanks for sharing your beautiful cottage and woodland gardens with us!😊💖🌲🌸🦋🐝
Your channel are the ones I seek out, “not that monetizing would be wrong for you” but I know you are real and not just telling us what you think we want to hear for gain, I don’t respond much but love your videos!😊
Dear Colette, thank you so much for for videos and your encouragement to everyone. I have suffered from mental health issues for many years, and being 60 this coming May, has left me feeling very doubtful about myself, and my capabilities. But hearing from you about your ambition for the coming times ahead, and telling us your age, gave me new hope to do my best to keep going. Sending blessings to you, and to any others reading this who may be needing an uplift in life. Take care of yourselves. 🙏❤️
Ahhh, Spring is indeed coming and your video this morning coincided with a return of the sun here for what promises to be a couple rare full sun (though chilly) end of Jan days. While waiting for that sun to rise up this morning, sitting up in my warm bed with my coffee and a sleeping cat, it just stuck me anew how magical that one person on the other side of the planet, can spread so much joyous energy so far afield, created in synchronous partnership with her plot of thriving nature via the technology of the internet. It's like a more mysterious and less visible dragon's breath made of energy and spirit using technology to reach places so far away. How nice!
How lovely to be seeing signs of Spring in January! As I sit here, it's currently -42C with the windchill and I have spent the day dreaming of my little garden. Thank you so much for sharing your little haven and your preparations for the awakening of sleeping plants and trees. We won't see the snow disappear until late April if we are lucky! The birdsong outside your cottage is delightful ...and so unusual to me as we rarely hear birds after sunset in the summer. At least I don't hear anything except the odd nightingale or mourning dove, and very rarely an owl! 🌌
I suppose it’s not only your strong will but also your good nutrition that gives you that amazing energy. - To feed the spirit, not only the body: so so so true! ❤
Oh Colette, we are so wet and more to come here in Virginia and with Imbolc tomorrow I am anxious to get busy with spring beds! So grateful for these wonderful adventures through your videos! I feel like I am right there with you! You are my dearest friend though we have never met! Thank you for you and the inspiration you give so freely. Blessings to You, Bealtaine Cottage and all who come here to be encouraged, inspired and enchanted!
Oh, one more thing: I've decided to use my Bealtaine calendar as a chronicle of my gardening year. Keeping track of what orders I place, what I'll plant, when the robins return, and other garden tasks and delights.
Lovely bird sounds. The veg garden is looking so good. Love your sitting room when you lit the woodstove, turned on the fairy lights and lit the candles. So very beautiful and calming. Thank you. The male wren has started to sing his beautiful song again here. Northeast CT in the US. Our temps are forecast to drop to 7 below 0 F a couple of nights this coming week even though it's 47 F today and cloudy. Take care and be well. Blessings.
Lovely video. I miss my house on 2 acres and I’m thinking of leaving my condo apartment to buy a a house with some land so I may have my garden and critters again. I have to say that watching this video I kept waiting for Jack to come running past you and then feeling sad because he is in heaven now. I miss him so I know you do and I miss my lovely doggies and horses that are all in heaven too. Blessings to you from the USA. Meant to ask are you putting out a cookbook? If not which book has the most recipes in it. I have a cottage and 3 acres and have truly enjoyed reading it.
Oh gosh Colette the gardens and cottage and wood look utterly lovely! The energy of spring is emerging. You sound delighted and it’s been delightful to visit. Thank you.🐇🐇🐇
Thats just reminded me... i need to get the stove fan in from the garage. Lol.weve had some lovely gardening weather in norfolk this week. Im in the middle of trimming bushes. Slipped over on the wet ivy... xxx
Can’t believe you have daffodils in bud in your garden…it’s still pretty grim outside here in Suffolk…although some fresh leaves are starting to show. Roll on spring!
My early spring is about 4 weeks away, so your video has been a delightful encouragement to me Colette. Thank you with the best of Blessings to you and yours and all who make your one woman's woodland their home!
My ideal world would be similar to yours, as a Celtic hermit with a tiny cottage and a garden, making pottery for a living and painting Mother of God and Celtic Saints...but its just a dream...
Last night I heard the spring peeper frogs for the first time, they're calling for some very cold nights here, 20F and a couple colder. Were I am in the states we rarely go below 25, sure hope these guys know what they're doing. I was also surprised to see some spring crocus up and blooming, sure hope these signs of spring from nature are more reliable than the forecast.
Your property & home are beautiful 😍, love your jacket in the beginning the quilt one too cute 😍. I like to hear you speak I'm American but my ancestors on both sides are Scotirish they say here idk if that's a term there or not lol :) stay cozy warm & thanks for sharing 💕
The wee birds are at home in the forest of Tree’s Bealtaine woodlands, oh the mention of Rhubarb. Hopefully you can share a cooking recipe when is ready for the table. Maybe even a demonstration I used to always make Rhubarb with custard on a Sunday as a desert treat when my children were small Also Colette , you made my old heart melt , when noticing the wee Bumblebee 🐝 Mary Canada. 🇨🇦
Collette, I always look forward to your videos. You have inspired me in so many ways as I develop my miniature woodland garden. Every part of your woodland garden is like a book in itself! Each area speaks to you in different ways.
Firstly, I must say how well you look today Colette, and how very much you suit your wonderful jacket! It’s such an exciting time of year with all the energy and promise; the birds here are singing later too, which I find makes smile involuntarily, and my older dog sniffs the air; I always think of the wisdom of Jack, with his beautiful kind eyes. I still expect to see him running up the paths to you on the videos, but maybe he is and we just can’t see him. Thank you for teaching us all something new in every video you make. Blessings from Lancashire, as always ❤
You're right spring is coming even here in the northern section of the US. Usually around end of January or mid-February I begin to see new growth in plants that I overwinter in the garage as well as plants that live inside all year. Must be the lengthening of days that does it. It is very encouraging to begin to see the reawakening of things outdoors.
We have so many Robins around this Winter and it's always a great thing to see. You much farther ahead of us here but alas Spring will arrive with it's bountiful bursts of beauty. God Bless and enjoy......🐦🐝🐞🏵🌱🌳
Thank you so much for your video Colette. Thoroughly enjoyed it, it has very calming effects. As always you give me the inspiration to get out there and work and enjoy the amazing benefits. Hope you're OK, look after yourself Colette Xxxx
I have one of those little edgersI use it to clear the grass off the sidewalk! but it really did a grand job of edging your path off the garden! I will copy that to properly edge my flower beds and my little kitchen garden beds at the back of my city lot... in a couple of months once the snow is off the land! prairies in Alberta! ❤️🇨🇦❤️ take care of that cough!
Great video Colette! So interesting how the early people were so in tune with the earth and the seasons -- but it makes perfect sense as they lived so close to nature. I learn so much from your videos.
You continue to be 'indomitable' Colette and I am (personally) so pleased you 'saved' the Foxgloves ! Interestingly in complete opposite 'season' well traditionally anyway - here in Western Australia my Foxgloves are now without flowers and look rather similar to yours - but how 'grand' and quite beautiful they will end up looking !!
When I saw your cottage door open I was wondering if a bear could wander in. Sad that bears have not lived in Ireland for hundreds of years and that Ireland use to be a rainforest.
"Happy Full Moon From Aussieland Colette!" Your always my go to place before my Moon Meditation each month 'Pure Magic'! "If you have a garden & library you have everything you need". Looking forward to your next book!!!💜🐦🕊🐝🐛🐞🌻🌳💚
Dear Colette, I admire you so much and am so inspired by you. I am 70 and I am very healthy thankfully. My only concern lately is that since I retired, I’ve been searching for something to fill my days. The children are all grown and I do see one son very regularly, the 3 others live far away but all is well. What I want to share is my propensity to hoard fabric and art supplies. I’m feeling a little overwhelmed by all these wonderful things I’ve amassed and as I watch you and looking at your lovely home, I think, how can I reclaim my garden, my inside living space and achieve the peace I sense in you as you present your videos. I am aiming to become as focused as I think you are. I’m realising that having too much can actually be so distracting that one becomes stuck. I’m watching you now and I’m determined to adopt your way of living. My son does the gardening but he also would like me to do more outside during the fortnight before he comes again. I live in the Blue Mountains in Sydney and I think our climate may be similar. Heavy frosts in Winter sometimes, rarely now, snow. Do you ever become overwhelmed by too many interests? By the way I think Patsy is adorable as was Jack. Many blessings to you, Colette, I will continue to watch you with great interest.
Wonderful video Colette and so inspiring, lovely to hear the birdsong, I have your calendar, beautiful photos and stories so glad I bought it, for anyone who doesn’t have it yet you’re missing a real treat
I know that you probably know this Colette, but to help a cough, take a small piece of fresh ginger and cut it up in small pieces along with a lemon and some honey to taste and put it into water in a pot and boil until water reduces to half...then take a few spoonfuls every couple of hours and cough will go away...use all organic if possible....Blessings to you...
As always, a very lovely video with a peaceful and serene atmosphere. It's all so soothing. Thank you! I too feel that the race for more and more profit has cut man off from nature and its beauty, wealth and benevolence. Some people believe that technology will save us from all the terrible problems we are faced with today: I fear they have it all wrong. Have a great day, Colette. 🙏
Your video was a wonderful treat to watch with my morning coffee! Those birds singing of Spring! It's so very peaceful there with your sunshine and your veg patch and the breeze going through the branches. 🌳🐦🌞
Hola! Thank-you for more Goddess gardening inspiration! Last February my work truck just blew up unexpectedly. Luckily my business is gardening and pool cleaning and Feb. is always slow. Somehow, the series of books The Ringing Cedars of Russia came my way simultaneously. I read all 9 books in two weeks and my life totally transformed. I learned so many gardening tips from Anastasia, the main character in these books. One thing I did last season in my vegetable garden is to hold the seeds in my mouth under my tongue for 9 minutes, and then hold them up to the sun and sky before planting them. Anastasia says this will allow the veggies to know what one needs for healing! I have perfect health, so I don't know about healing, but every vegetable was so big, beautiful, and healthy despite our intense heat and drought last season. I loved the whole ritual of doing this!
Hi Colette, Thank you for this beautiful video, love the bird song at the beginning! Crocuses are just popping through in the garden, a sure sign that Spring is not far away now! The nights are drawing out too here in Pickenham Norfolk, UK. A well deserved cup of tea Colette! Many blessings ❤️
Thank you Colette for another lovely video, taking the time to make it I really appreciate it. Looking forward to purchasing your new book. Blessings xx
I'm always a bit jealous of your early springs in Ireland. We just got another foot of snow over the weekend here in northern NY. A good time to sit by the woodstove and order more trees and shrubs! 😄

The robins are so plump and well fed and very cute!
Thank you so much for your video Colette. Thoroughly enjoyed it, it has very calming effects. As always you give me the inspiration to get out there and work and enjoy the amazing benefits. Hope you're OK, look after yourself Colette
Xxxx
I love your videos.....keep them coming...Blessings !!
"We need to feed the spirit as well as the stomach" 👍🏼 The 🐝🐝🐝 will be happy about it as well.
Lovely way to start my day! Blessings!
I love spring! My favorite time of the year. Watching everything bud out and bloom is more exciting that christmas morning.
Just beautiful Colette....youve been working hard....
.looking forward to seeing it during the summer to see how it all pays off!!! Blessings x
Beautiful video thank you x
When I saw your cottage door open I was wondering if a bear could wander in. Sad that bears have not lived in Ireland for hundreds of years and that Ireland use to be a rainforest.
Not a rainforest but a wonderful deciduous forest with a predominance of Irish Oaks
About the cough. Try thyme. That‘s what my natural healer said.
All looking good, Colette! Many blessings sent your way. 👏🏼👏🏼🇺🇸
Wonderful video Colette and so inspiring, lovely to hear the birdsong, I have your calendar, beautiful photos and stories so glad I bought it, for anyone who doesn’t have it yet you’re missing a real treat
Thank you so much!
Thanks 🙏 for your recipe!
Thank you so much love your videos sharing with us all xxx
Hi Colette, Thank you for this beautiful video, love the bird song at the beginning! Crocuses are just popping through in the garden, a sure sign that Spring is not far away now! The nights are drawing out too here in Pickenham Norfolk, UK. A well deserved cup of tea Colette! Many blessings ❤️
Ah Spring a long time away for me but wonderful to hear your birds and Daffs in Pots. Beauty..Sharon. 🇨🇦
Thank you Colette for another lovely video, taking the time to make it I really appreciate it. Looking forward to purchasing your new book. Blessings xx
So nice you're heading into spring. West MI just got 5" of snow. 2.5 more months and then Spring is here. 🙂
Yes we are still awfully cold here in Michigan 😅
I'm always a bit jealous of your early springs in Ireland. We just got another foot of snow over the weekend here in northern NY. A good time to sit by the woodstove and order more trees and shrubs! 😄
Loved the video 😍👌👍🌳. Thank you for sharing.
Maravilhoso 👏👏👏 amo muito tudo isso ❤️❤️🤩🤩 aqui é verão muito calor 🔥🔥🏝️🏝️🏖️🏖️🏖️ bjsss 😘😘😘😘😘🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
