i always appreciate the production value you put into your videos on stadiums. nobody else is bold enough to secure the rights for the #1 song from the 17th century hip hop artist lil willy.
Great stuff - having been to the majority of these grounds I can tell you that the pre and post-match bar experience is even more important than the stadium and whilst Chelmsford is blighted by a running track it also has a cracking bar for all supporters. Also that red-fenced terrace at Welling finally re-opened yesterday after being closed for a couple of years, rebuilt with a lot of help from the fans.
Wonderful as always! Whatever that mascot is at the 3:00 mark, it's the stuff of nightmares! I can't tell whether it's a pig or a sheep but it sent the kids running for cover!
The tree at St Albans City was listed and they were not allowed to knock it down, it was too close to one of the goals which breached promotion regulations bizarrely. The club would have knocked it down if they could. Ironically it blew down in a storm a few years later, though it has been speculated the storm was used an excuse for them to take it down. Either way it came down, and they got promoted about 10 years later for their only season in the Conference National
On the topic of Havant and waterloovile. They get pretty good attendance. There the smaller club in the area with Havant being on the outskirts of Pompey so they don’t have a largely one club fanbase. As a Pompey fan if I can’t get to an away game I just go there. It’s pretty good.
Ok, where do I start? as a kid I lived in Worthing, my auntie lived in the road opposite to the ground so i used to cycle to her house, leave my bike there go and watch the game then back to her place for a cuppa of tea and a cake, then cycle back home. When i returned home following a short career in the Royal navy, I took the whistle and moved even closer to the ground, I took the whistle up and started referring at local park level, I was lucky to have three cup finals as a linesman all played at Woodside road. When I moved back to Wales, I also had my leaving party on the grandstand. These were the days when Worthing played in the Diordoira League. I am so pleased to see they have moved up, shame about the plastic pitch
7:25 you would be surprised. I used to go Chorley Fc matches. And there are groups of people even at that level who fight at the football. you covered chorley in your national league North video btw
I have a suggestion for further videos - the stadiums of the German “Regionalliga”, the 4th tear of german football. The Regionalliga is divided up in 5 Divisions to 18-20 teams. You can find a bunch of pretty & unique stadiums in this league. 😉
The running track at Chelmsford is currently being re-laid so it's not really that visible at the moment. It's a good stadium really, great bar and good food.
Twerton Park also spent a few years as the home ground of Bristol Rovers FC, and as such is the only ground in that league to have hosted League Football.

Nice video I am currently working my way through these stadiums (last night I visited Farnborough 13/24) A few extra comments... Eastbourne is called Borough and not United, they also have an Eastbourne Town FC which is lower down the leagues and play at a different venue. Hemel Hemstead have put up an impressive terrace in the derelict area of your photos. This includes a read wall with a scoreboard. Dartford is my favourite and along with the environmental statement the have a large wooden man holding up the roof inside the stadium which is pretty cool
3:25 - To a Canadian or yank used to areas full of mobile homes, that looks normal. They can be moved and placed anywhere, and are cheaper than building a permanent house. Living in them sucks, I know from experience.

I support a team who are four divisions below the football league, we don't have segregation in our league. I've only ever seen segregation twice at this level or slightly higher, and that was at Bromley's Hayes Lane and Stonebridge Road. Other than on those two occasions, fans are usually allowed to goal behind whichever goal their team are shooting at
accessible TREES with Branches in or very close to stands are necessary for those once in a generation matches . Bournemouth once had a row of bloody Poplar Trees which aren’t exactly user friendly unless you’re a Chimp or a Koala 👍
When our narrator was telling us about the roof at Princes Park for Dartford FC I recoiled in disgust because usually I'm opposed to all things "green" but when we could see inside the stadium I had to admit it looked really good! One of my favourite little stadiums I've seen.
@Jack Adams did you really not know that I meant the environmental agenda with all the global warming silliness? I furthermore put the word green in quotes. Did you seriously not get that? How old are you? edit: when a poster is making a self effacing joke it is rather classless and weak to use it as opportunity to try and insult them. In terms of Dulwich Hamlet they don't own the ground and a few years ago the owners wanted to sell the ground with Dulwich having to ground share with a neighbouring club. The owners are going ahead with putting housing on the ground but in return they will help finance the building of a new ground adjacent to the present stadium with a long long lease.
St Albans were NOT allowed to cut down the tree at the time as though deseased did have a preservarion order on it, they had to wait for it to die naturally
you should have waited for this one as there some new teams coming to the league such as yeovil and aveley also there is no segregation in the 6th tier but it has kicked off at ebbsfleet when welling played them and ebbsfleet missed a penalty in the 101st minute
There is no border between north and south England. "Head south of the border" is not applicable. The only borders are Scotland and Wales. Only Wales has teams playing in English National League, so let's discount that as it is west. The opening tagline should be: "Let's head south"
