Hayden is young... but he is scrappy and focused. He will mature and get even better.

Good match. Hayden was the quicker of the two wrestlers and that is what won the match. Joey never seemed to be able to find an opening. Couldn't see what happened there at the end but Hayden looked pissed and took it out on Joey in his last charge of the match.
At 5:33 Joey headbutted (inadvertently? I can' tell) Hayden
Joey definitely headbutted Hayden near the end of the match. It happened so fast, the camera man almost missed it completely. With the expression on his face, Hayden seemed to have had a head injury or possible concussion. The ref blew the whistle right away and was chatting with Hayden before the match resumed, evidently asking if he was OK. I don't watch wrestling enough to know if some type of concussion protocal should have occured in this situation, but I think everyone was just wanting to get the match over with, and that may have been the right call. If there were still a couple minutes left, I think the situation may have escalated. To be honest, I'm a little surprised there was still a handshake after the match was over, but I guess that was the professional thing to do regardless.
I'm not 100% sure the headbutt was intentional, but I think what got Hayden really upset was the immediate reaction by Joey. The hand gesture he made after the ref blew the whistle (I believe that was an injury time-out, not sure) seemed to communicate- Why are you (Hayden) making a big deal about this,? I didn't hurt you that bad. Joey didn't say a whole lot, but if Hayden saw the hand gesture he made, I can see why he got angry. Again, I think it was fortunate there was only a few seconds left in the match, I believe things could have gotten really ugly. This whole series of events happened very fast, especially the headbutt. The average person will have to put the video in slo-mo to catch everything.
Why would the ref make the RED singlet wrestler green?
This was a dual meet between two teams wearing an inconsistent set of singlets. Since the choice of color must remain the same for all 14 weight classes, inconsistencies like this can occur.
