The thing I like about the Royal Family is they serve in the forces to protect their family the UK people.
The biggest failure in modern politics is the poor very underpaid mps CHANGE the laws to help the select people in there pockets.
What I like about UK reform is they want to CHANGE the LAWS to protect their family....the UK PEOPLE.

Disturbingly most of these will be from the last 12 years of Conservative government - though one could suggest the biggest failure in British political history would be the failure of Guy Fawkes to complete the job.

As someone affected by the Tuition fees situation, I could have taken a gap year and gone under the new scheme but ended up skipping the gap year and going to uni before the change, I wish I had gone for the new scheme.
Because it's about how you pay it back and the repayment threshold, I'm much worse off now than if I'd gone under the newer scheme.

I would have put the Suez Crisis at number one on this list. Not only did it spell doom for Anthony Eden as Prime Minister, but his stubbornness in trying to manufacture a war in the Middle East under false pretences had far reaching consequences. It meant that London was the subject of the first threat of a nuclear strike by the Soviet Union and it was in effect the beginning ofa period where Britain was irrelevant on the world stage. As someone who participated in the British involvement at Suez put it in retrospect:
"It was a total, utter disaster and it took us 20 years to recover our rightful place as someone who is not the lord and master of a particular region, but a friend to those states who emerged after centuries of us and the French ruling the roost,"

I wouldn’t say Boris gave up his position easily; they were involved in so many: the Rwanda scheme, in covid they got caught fast checking their mates for ppe contracts, they got caught breaking lockdown rules and having parties, they all said terrible things and got caught lying to the media constantly about how the UK was performing economically and in covid compared to Europe and one mp got done for being a nonce.

I voted out because of human rights violations. Some foreign people are mistreated by employers not giving them the money they legally earn and so weren't getting the correct wage and some were place in high rented places that were in the most disgusting conditions. Finally how some of them were mistreated in human trafficking. As you know 30 people froze to death one of them was a 15 years old boy in a lorry and that was very poor treatment. Also, the rich MPs don't want to pay their taxes and so place their money in overseas bank accounts. Strikes are not enough and there will be a government rebellion like the Royal families of France and Russia learn the hard way.

Blairs weapons of mass destruction should deffo be on here. But it would be absurd to claim that labour should jave the top 5. Then again I'm under no illusion, I knowni don't belong to the tory upper crust. Its embarrassing that working class folks vote for them, as though it they would all become wealthy landowners 🤣🤣
