❤ incredible. Thanks for this. Just a note to say that I (triple fire born 63) have been emotionally connected to my childhood memories of 1968 very keenly since March. Whoa. I used my library card to watch the streaming movie Berkeley in the Sixties. At the end of the film, the sound as the credits rolled was some protest singing that called up a sense memory because there’s a good chance that I was actually there, sitting cross legged on the ground with my parents. All I know is I cried and cried deep sobbing tears. I’m sure I was processing my memories and feelings about the tragedies that surrounded this chapter of my history. I’m amazed an astrological parallel can be drawn to NOW! Thank you.
In my opinion the world would be a far more oppressive and dull place were it not for the 60's. Think about social values, art, music, style, culture, politics, spirituality. Incredible... Imagine if it was still like the 1950's. Ugh... So I totally hear you. I can picture you there. Hehe! ♥ Thanks! 🙏
@@AquarianDiary Funny, as I often think of some of the movies made in the 60s. I thought, 'what a great community'. I remember one with Elvis Presley and how it just felt like a community was always doing things together (against the big bad government, or whoever ran the world at that time!) I can see this cycle is coming around again. Like a fashion revival of the go-go boots!😁
Thank you for speaking on this. As a college student who supports a free palestine its been maddening being gaslit by 'adult' voices in the media. The astrology is striking and I pray that we can end this war before the election.
I hope your generation holds the line and avoids some of the pitfalls your opponents hope you succumb to. Time will prove that the cause is just, despite the naysayers, just as it has in the past. The resistance is powerful and entrenched though.
Thank you for this John. Everything happening is just too painful. I must be honest, I don’t believe it’s a coincidence that the October 7th attacks happened on Putin’s birthday. And Hamas leadership visiting Moscow weeks after is even more alarming. Israel having nuclear weapons is an open secret at this point. It would not surprise me if, given Netanyahu’s insane ideologies, the US and other nations are trying to prevent this from a possible nuclear escalation. I’m not making excuses for anyone, I just don’t think it’s as simple as we want to believe it is. I think everything happening right now in our world is connected in ways that we are not fully acknowledging because it’s too painful. Russia, China, Iran, and their allies do not want democracy in our world. They know they can not beat the West militarily so fracturing everyone from within is their only option. If that means helping begin horrific conflicts in other parts of the world that will stoke internal tensions, they will do it. And they have been very successful so far. If Biden loses the election because of what is happening in the Middle East, Democracy will be over. Not just in the US, but globally. They know this.
It wouldn't surprise me if there is more going on here than meets the eye, although we have no credible evidence to support that at this point. However, regardless of whether that is true or not, it doesn't explain or justify what has been happening to the civilian population, nor is that possible IMO. Furthermore, the nature of the unqualified support for this is eroding, and has the potential to further erode, public support for the parties in question. Both domestically and internationally. That is the part I, and many others, don't understand. If we want liberal democratic principles to prevail in an increasingly hostile geopolitical sphere, we must win hearts and minds. This is definitely counterproductive in that regard. It makes no sense to me on many levels. There is no sound justification for the level or nature of the devastation and nature of the deprivation occurring to a civilian population at this scale. It actually raises the risks of something even more calamitous occurring. I'm not arguing with you personally, just stating my perspective as best I can in a minuscule YT comment!
@@AquarianDiaryNo worries John! I didn’t take your response as an argument at all. I think our hearts and minds are aligned in this. I just feel so sad and devastated seeing everything. Children without food, shoes, water, wondering where their parents are while trying not to die as bombs are reigning down on them. I don’t, and seemingly can’t, understand. I definitely agree there has been advancements in many areas, not so much in others. It's a two step forward, one step back process, it seems. Recent years being a step back in many regards. Having said that, I could also make a case that there have been social costs of many "improvements" for which the bill is now coming due (eg the environment). I wasn't old enough myself to understand what was occurring in the late 60's at the time. It would have been fascinating to have been engaged, no doubt! * advancements ?
