@@TruckingwithDevAt 12:55 using red diesel to clean the side glass. Where does that fluid exit out to? Just curious.
@@lostintranslation3789 great question it usually stays in the tank but if your hauling obm it’s what they use to mix the mud anyway only time you don’t use it is when you are hauling a clean washed out tanker for the rigs clean shower water but anything else it’s fine. Hope that helps
Appreciate this! I've done water tankers, but this vacuum tanker is much more complex than that. I'm headed to West Texas soon to do this. Your breakdown is on point.
Glad I could help brotha 🙏🏾💯😎
Nice to know how you do it, Texas. Colorado we way different.
What’s different about it?
Thanks for the helpful and informative video ✌🏻
Big props bro for shooting this video
💯🙏🏾😎
Thank you I appreciate this
Nice! I have been out in the oilfield before, hauling frack sand. I'm OTR now, but thinking about heading back to the oilfield. That was informative. Thanks!
Appreciate the content. Going to be training soon for this. Gave me a head start. What happened to the diesel fluid you used to clean the pipe?
@@lostintranslation3789 no doubt I’m glad I can be help😎 and the diesel fluid?
Great video.
Reminds me of my AIT tutorial on 92F work.
Some of the instructors/red hats were prior road warriors and petrol punks who wish to spread their knowledge to U.S.
And it's free knowledge too.
Thank you, much man...
Excelent video👌
Gracias❤
💯
Get you a go pro and stick it to your helmet so you can use your both hands
I just got hired on here in California hopefully it goes well for me i excited to learn
Thanks man I’m applying for a vac job soon
Very good video helps a lot
Glad I can help bud thank you for your input 🤜🏽🤛🏽
Thanks in advance . I'm trying to learn how to do this before buying
Awesome I’m glad I can help🤜🏽🤛🏽
Hey Dev, do you have a video loading from a tank battery. Do you have to leave tank hatch open so the tank battery does not implode when emptying it out completely?
Most of the time the battery tanks have a vent on top and usually dont have to mess with them.
So you left the 3" hose and fittings for future loads ??
It reduces the size so that when you get to any location either to load or unload you can hook up your 3” hose and not have to keep taking the fitting off and on. Just make sure to always put a cap because those butterfly valves are notorious for leaking.🤘🏽
I have a 2 line wet kit like you. Where did you get that vacuum on the trailer? TIA‼️
Are you working on South Texas?
Good explanation. When you transport saltwater what type of maintenance have you soon guys do inside the tank? We transport almost 180 bbl.
Nothing crucial just a wash out when you go to the washout disposal facilitys most of the time that’s what there washing your tank out with.
Que bueno sería si estuviera en español
Can you make 4k a week hauling water? Or is it slow right now? Is most the work 1099 or w2? Waving a hand from Orla
It's slow af but it will pick up in March and more when Biden is out of office
Gj.
How much does it cost to intall the pto system in your own truck?
About 3500-7000 depending on what is needed bud.
what companies hire if have 0 experience but got all endorsements?
There is a bunch out there especially here in south Texas and up in west Texas when you see trucks at the truck stops and they are hauling what you want to haul go talk to them and ask questions also look for the smaller mom and pop companies even owner operators I promise you will find something.
@@TruckingwithDevI’m looking for a small mom and pop shop that does tanker! Where can I find something like that? They don’t really post on indeed, and they could be anywhere in the city.
I tried for two years come November. 40+ applications as a new CDL-A with all endorsements. The easiest way to get a job is through a temp service period. They will do the leg work to get you a job because they get paid. Thanks to them I’ll be driving a 5,500 gallon tanker, just like I wanted…CDL-A tanker experience. Let me know if you find a better way. 👍
@@stumpbumpersgreat to see that bro. What’s a good staffing in Tx
I just got my cdl brother. What I need gonna do to become driver vacuum truck? Thank in advance
Hey brotha thank you reaching out, first do you have your tankers endorsement?
@@TruckingwithDevhey brotha great vid man! I have a tankers endorsement but no experience. Graduated from CDL school less than two weeks ago. What companies should I be looking at? In San Antonio if you know anything here or surrounding area
