As a Georgia voter, I am FURIOUS that the case against trump for trying to invalidate my vote is not going forward. The only way a federal judge can be removed from the bench is impeachment or criminal conviction, more or less. People keep screaming "Why didn't Jack Smith have her removed yet?!?" Lolol, as if there's a "remove judge" button. It is extremely rare, and can only be done by a higher court. If a prosecutor tries that and doesn't absolutely have all his ducks in a row, they will be PISSED.

I have been involved with the courts for several decades. I don't think I have ever seen a case where I am at that if a person has as many felony charges as trump, they don't go to prison. with that many charges, someone is going to prison, even if its just for a year with 6 months good time. But when you add all the violations of a gag order, past civil cases, past criminal cases around his company, his comments during and after the trial, I just do not see how trump can not be sentenced to some prison time, even if its for a minimum amount. People with a single count of the same charges sometimes get sent to prison. usually, when they just have a single or 2-3 counts of this type, they get probation, but the courts can not ignore 34 counts + all the baggage.

Its amazing you guys are complaining that the judge wants to go through every issue and make sure everything goes on the up and up! You plotted when the New York judge rush this trial so fast, to be indicted and tried all within the year is almost unheard of and you guys applauded that
What about a speedy trial ?
Our judicial system is still growing up. When it arrives at adulthood, the following will be the case:
An “adults in the room, committee” of senior judges will scrutinize the lottery distribution of cases. If they see that an inexperienced judge, one with who was appointed by a defendant, assigned to a case of national, international, and planetary consequences, they will step in and reassign the case to a senior jurist. That’s what an adult, grown-up justice system looks like. What we have here is soap behind the ears and a bit of colic.
It seems to me there are three potential courses of remedy:
1. The appeals court steps in on their own to address the issue
2. Smith goes to the appeals court with all the evidence of bias thus far displayed
3. Re-file the case to get another judge
