"Two Sleepy People" is a song written by Hoagy Carmichael in 1938. The lyrics are written by Frank Loesser. In 1939 the song was performed by B. Hope and S. Ross in the film "Thanks for the Memory".
During the recording session we also recorded "Borrowing Moons" and "Teach Me Tonight".

Lyrics
Here we are out of cigarettes, holding hands and yawning, look how late it gets,
Two sleepy people by dawn's early light, and too much in love to say goodnight.
Here we are in a cozy chair, picking on a wishbone from the Frigidaire,
Two sleepy people with nothing to say, and too much in love to break away.
Do your remember the nights we used to linger in the hall? Father didn't like you at all.
Do you remember the reason we married in the fall?
To rent this little nest, and get a bit of rest.
Well here we are just about the same, foggy little fella, drowsy little dame,
Two sleepy people by dawn's early light, and too much in love to say goodnight.
The way she sings "Foggy little fella, drowsy little dame" melts me, and her voice matches your playing style, amazing job!
I cant believe this doesn't have more views. Jeez. This is the closest to perfection it gets.
First, the musicianship from you two guyz is just top notch professional...very nicely flowing and creative throughout the song. Second, the vocalist is just as talented...Gabriela your voice is very rich of tone and also creatively smooth as silk...love how you weaved thru the melody And finally, the producer, sound and video techs did a fantastic job with putting it all together into a very enjoyable video....the added still shots throughout really shows thought and creativity.
smooth guitar, cool lazy trombone and sweet sweet voice to lie down in.
great arrangement of a wonderful song well played guys,Gabriela your voice is superb.
If words exist to properly compliment this perfection, I'm not sure what they are.
Beautiful....just beautiful. But then, besides the voice and the trombone, the guitar accompaniment is so special. Unique. Thank you very much for giving us this clip.
trombone in the first 30 seconds is heaven.

Me encanta Gabriella
@kebritchie Thank you!!!
sweet
We are always impressed and fascinated at the unifying power of music ...

I miss the second guitar ;-)
I would like to be able to play along, but it's a little out of key due to recording? For the rest....perfect.
That is not Silje Nergaard!
