Back in 2007 I was at a concert with multiple bands including 30 Seconds to Mars, and I walked out of the arena to go find a bathroom and my 13 year old self saw Jared Leto and the rest of the band just chillin alone grabbing a bite to eat and I went up to them and we talked for about 15 minutes and I remember them just being so sweet. They signed my ticket and made my life that day (: I'll never forget it lol

Wow, I was not prepared for the intensity of the nostalgia that hit me when this song started playing... these guys were SUCH an important part of my life when I was 15-16 (around 2007) and even though I don't listen to any of their new stuff this band is still so important to me.

I am of Asian descent. Centuries ago my country was under Chinese rule and my ancestors had to adopt a lot of customs and traditions from China. As bizarre as my explanations are they are not bull, milking a mom to be young is not real but the symbolism behind them is real. That is just one of many. I could see how authentic the producers tried to make this video feel as an authentic Chinese feature film with props, acting, setting, and storytelling. I am exposed to lot of horror games/movies and I know a bad omen/ghost when I see one and I take to mind about these themes; I am desensitized about how the world is today because I choose to look at the big picture that the world is not perfect. Of course I do not follow these customs but they were explained to me as I was learning my heritage.
