The Sweet were sadly underrated. But not by the fans who knew, what was superb. The Sweet were ahead of their time with Iron Maidian style guitar riffs. U gotta hand it to them they rocked.

@@wambikat4931 The Sweet generated an unmatched excitement and frenzy in their live performances.Very few bands around in 1970s, would get anywhere near them. They could do pop,glam rock, and real hard ,hard rock.Guess you could say a versatile band ,that delivered on all counts.

It may not be the classic Connolly/Tucker/Priest/Scott line up but it's better than none. Andy was the main songwriter in the group.
Sweet will never be Sweet again, no matter how many new voices come and go. Without the other three it's finished for me. I'll still listen to the original songs and singers,
Sorry, but a band evolves. Don’t keep stuck in the past, open your ears for the great new material. Some of the current band members are already there way longer than the original ever have been. Probably you will say in 10 years from now that the current line up was underrated
