Nice job Riley we are sure your client will like those…. We are personally not fans of putting lights inside the tank like that you know we put them underneath usually we just think it’s much cheaper and more aesthetic and also easier…. It’s setting something up Like that for a client might work easier for them good luck sir
I totally understand your preferences , however the aquarium lid determined the lighting type. Based on the colourful settings of the aquarium, in tank aquarium light I think will illuminate the beauty of the aquarium more. Thanks for sharing in the discussion , One love brothers
It works with both sand and gravel. Place wand above sand substrate, 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch away from the substrate to me would be the nearest I placed these lights to any Aquarium Substrate. Air moves upwards in tank so after a few minutes the substrate should settle
Dear Raliegh: Ah, now I see how you will illuminate this tank; with submersible LED’s. Will the box filter be the only filter in this, 70-gallon tank? It won't provide enough mechanical or biological filtration for many fish, unless the tank is very heavily planted. How will this setup provide nutrition for the plants? It is difficult to grow plants in gravel. Gravel may be placed on top of potting soil, but that method doesn’t provide an impermeable “cap” to keep nutrients out of the water column, where algae can use it. Two to three inches of sand works best, for that purpose (and black sand looks best). White or tan sand will get covered with algae and look terrible. Thank you for posting this terrific and informative update on this build. All my best, Sincerely, E. J. Brinegar
Greetings from Jamaica my friend, thanks for those questions, the filtration setup will be share I think next week. Aquarium will be planted and small fish will be its initial occupants. I am in charge of the aquarium full maintenance so as the changes occur I will update you all and share changes, for now, small fish will be in this aquarium
Thanks for tuning in, one up, ok, once you have pulled the package holding the lights apart you will see a open valve which you would attach the air hose. Place the pump at the top of the aquarium, this prevents back flow of water from the aquarium.
The lights are so bright! probably going to look real nice when you get it in the aquarium.
That's for sure brotha it's so bright, brighter than what I had first anticipated.thanks for tuning in.
These lights look amazingly bright. I’m sure the lights will look very good in your aquarium. Thanks for sharing with us.

Can this wand work if you use sand vs. gravel? Or will the sand get blasted away and expose the whole wand?
