I’m headed to live in Cebu in October, BUT the best immigration to use around Manila, is 8th floor at SM Aura in BGC. NO LINES EVER.. clean.. in and out in 30 minutes.
Welcome back to Manila, Mergim. Looking forward to more videos....keep them intensive, detailed and unique as always....stay fit n strong, too. God bless
Hello Mergim, yoy really always amazed me and surprised everytime you go to new malls. Because here in Cebu, if not because of you I wouldn't plan to go to NUSTAR. Thank you.
Mergim, your vlog location move to the Philippines has been an epic success in terms of subscribers and viewership. May you continue to prosper in this endeavor and may you remain true to your conviction. May God bless you and keep you, always. Amen!
Mergim -- That view from the SM Aura roof terrace demonstrates the fragmentation of Manila. On one side, there is BGC and fenced out by an arterial road on the other side is Pembo. Had my parents stayed in Taguig, I wonder what side we would have ended living.
Pembo lots if you look in maps are 150 sq meter each per floor and some of the houses are 3 to 4 floors totaling 450 to 600 sq meters. I wouldn't really call living in a tiny jail sized condo in bgc a better life.
@@glamalil I've lived in both. Lived in Cembo for many years when I first started working. Now live in BGC in a gated community near SM Aura. Living in BGC is miles better. Security, amenities, quality of life, walkability, ease of access to services, parks, playgrounds etc and etc. It's not even close.
I hope you are still doing well there, Mergim. Just take it easy at times and chill. I know you've just came back from Cebu, so you might need to chill out a bit. But, I hope all is well with you there. God blesa you always. Support and Love here, man. 👍👍
@@MergimVlogsYT Try going to Antipolo, for a panoramic view of metro manila's skyline. Take a 'city tour' thru the MRT/LRT system. Make sure you end up at MASINAG LRT stn, the easternmost end of the train system. From there (its connected to an SM mall), take a cab or grab to either PADI'S POINT or CLOUD 9 antipolo (about 10 to 15mins ride) Be there not later than 5pm so you can see both the daytime and nighttime views of the city skyline After hanging out a bit, take another cab/grab to EASTWOOD Libis, the country' original 'IT Park' for some night life and interaction with friendly locals/other foreigners in the area
When in Quezon City, visit Maginhawa Street, La Mesa Dam Forest Park, Quezon City Memorial Circle (The tower has the remains of former president Manuel L. Quezon), also Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar which is a smaller version of the one in Bataan. It has restored old houses from the Spanish Colonial Era.
For UP Diliman. You can do drone shots there. See the Oblation, Amphitheater, Lagoon, Carillon, Sundial, Sunken Garden, Church made by at least 4 National Artists. You can also go to the Science Complex, your drone will see the shape of each building. For example Math building has the + and = shape. Other institutes the buildings are helix, mitochondria, etc. For food, you can do street food and the iconic Rodics with its shredded tapa in tapsilog. The campus is 453 hectares.
You can also try the Nike outlet store in Sta. Rosa Laguna. Most of the large sized older model shoes are sold there at a discount. Sta. Rosa is a sort of suburb neighborhood on the way to Tagaytay.
Hello Mergim Glad to be back in Manila, Can i suggest that try to go to Araneta City in Cubao, Quezon City, also in Vikings Buffet in SM Megamall in Mandaluyong you will surely like it so much, thank you very much and be safe always God Bless you always...
You should checkout Filinvest City in Alabang, Muntinlupa City. It's like a Suburb City, then go to Evia Lifestyle Mall and checkout the Palazzo Verde - a nice events place.
Try to visit also Ortigas Center area Ortigas Ave there is also Sm Mega mall,Podium,Shangri-la Plaza and Robinsons Galleria near Asian Development Bank.Nixe videos of Bgc
Can you do a drive by video of BGC areas on your motorbike? Maybe include parts where the high rise begins and the typical residences meet? I don't think anyone has done that?
Nice one Mergim, never been there, would luv to have a stroll on these places, malls etc... you're showing us living here in OZ now and never been back for quite a while. Thanks a lot for the videos and infos 🥰👍👊 More power to you, tcare and God Bless
Try visit town or cities where are Fiesta or Festival. Also, by next month September stick around because malls starts to decorate for Christmas. It's very early and stay late holidays which Filipino loves either rich or poor.
Go to ortigas business center n stroll at megamall then visit eastwood.. later go to trinoma and alabang town center. You have to cruise along edsa so you hv the glimpse of metro manila.. its like sukhumbit of bkk but longer n stretching 23 kms..
Your lucky Mergim theres no size 13 at Nike because you can go to outlet stores here. You can either go to Nike Riverbanks and Nike Sm Masinag both reachable by Mrt and Lrt. Or you can be adventurous and go to Nike Outlet Paseo which is a suburb and reachable by bus. Its a place like the Us. If you plan to go north, there are also outlets in the expressway
If you want to go to Quezon City and have a motor bike, maybe try the timog ave and tomas morato ave rows, there are a lot of restaurants there for food crawl there.
Good to see you are enjoying BGC in Manila, Mergim. The cemetery on your video is the US Cemetery dedicated to World War 2 Veterans and managed by the US government ( US Embassy in Manila ) Keep up the good work, Brother!
Trivia. BGC or Bonifacio Global City used to be part of a larger Fort Bonifacio the former American military base, Fort McKinley. Thus you will find tunnels underneath BGC going to the neighboring barrios which where once the residential areas for soldiers. These tunnels facilitated wartime troop movement with the base.
If you like malls, suggest you try the 4 malls in Ortigas - Shangri-la, Megamall, Podium and Robinsons Galleria. They're walking distance from each other. You can try taking the Mrt and get off at The Shangri-la (Shaw) station.
Great 😊 vlog and welcome back to metro Manila. You can find anything here better than anything anywhere.Your the fastest rising vloger in the Asia-Pacific region!!!
Regarding the Nike Pegasus shoes, I seem to recall that Mergim spoke of ordering a pair from Singapore when he returned to home between his two visits to the Phillipines.(vlog June 18th 2022) I'm guessing that he didn't otherwise they would've arrived at his home in Bangkok.
Thanks beautiful view structural designs of the buildings is amazing. You got different angles. Love it.
I think SM Aura is the wackiest design of a mall that I have seen, it is so cool.

Try going to SM City Fairview in Lungsod Quezon north Metro Manila. The view there of the city is also spectacular.

BGC will have a subway station before 2030. watch out!
There's a small Toby's Estate cafe in the food hall, 3rd floor in SM Aura if you want good strong coffee.
Mergim you gotta try that place definitly. It's an Australian Coffe company and great strong coffees
Sunset at QC Memorial Circle
Try to visit the dolomite beach Bro.. Please keep us an update how it goes at this moment.. Thanks in advance.
