I remember back then when i left mtaani Thindigua ata haikuwa inatambulika, kiasi kiasi after going back like 3 yrs later i was soo shocked juu the rate at which it had grown was massive, nakumbuka hapo place quick mart huwa that whole area ilikuwa shamba infact hiyo area yote ilikuwa giza tupu.
Lived in Thindigua few years ago we had to go through coffee plantations, & nappier grass fields & lots of trees. Getting vehicles to town was hectic. Saa hii buildings right left & centre, in years to come Thindigua will have zero trees & farming. Trend fast spreading to neighbouring kirigiti, kiambu, ndumberi & githunguri. Good growth but no consideration for agriculture.
😂..many years back thindigwa and mushatha.😅😅used to be refered as rural, and most backward undeveloped Kikuyu areas.. mostly used to teasing reference..until when gichangi terrorist of riverside bombing was highlighted as having resided from this place..that's when it was exposed by media ,as a very affluent area to shock of many... otherwise the county govt must be collecting hefty land rates but doing minimal interms of cabro ot tarmacs.. imagine soil roads leading to several multi millons mansions and villas..shame
Kenyans should stop calling places with trees and plantation undeveloped.....building destroy the freshness of a place trees are you the best wadosi wamejificha kwa misitu
